5.0 out of 5 stars Easy To Understand, Great For Beginners June 7, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have wanted to learn more about investing in dividend stocks for over two years now, but have always put it off. Every time I try to read a financial book I walk away feeling like a total dufus because I am more confused than before I began reading.

Dividends always seemed like a good investment strategy, but I needed to know the basics for getting started.

I am so glad that I took a chance and bought this book. It was an easy read, and I feel confident enough now to get started. Thanks for a perfect beginner's book!

This guide ticks all the boxes! Common sense advice, beginning with a sound explanation of Dividend Investing, what to look for in prospective companies, and what to watch out for, along with a detailed step by step plan for developing your own "watch list".

Having a supplied "List of Dividend Aristocrats" is a big plus for starting you out in the right direction.

The perfect gift for a young person starting out on the investing road.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Little Guide! June 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Dividend Investing is the perfect little guide to teach you about investing in dividend stocks. It gives you everything you need to know and does so in a way that is straightforward and easy to understand. It seems like most investing books talk about a dozen different ways to analyze a stock which puts you in analysis paralysis when you actually go to purchase your first stock. The simplicity and clarity in the author's writing style is refreshing.

If there is a "how to" guide on dividend investing, this is it. After reading this, I feel I have all the information I need to start building my portfolio of dividend stocks.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good little book on Dividend Investing April 17, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is a short guide about investing in Dividend Stocks. It's aimed at the beginner investor and contains some good tips on getting started choosing the right stocks with a long track record of paying increasingly higher div's.

While I'm not new to dividend investing (I've even written my own guide on the subject) I did come away with a few new tips.

It is short. But when you just want the facts and no fluff on how to get started investing in dividends then it's worth the read.
