Classic ideas that withstand the test of time,

This book tells you not only when to buy value, but when to SELL - how to tell when this type of stock is overvalued. Its author published a top-rated newsletter for something like 40 years. She had to use her first initial - "G" instead of her name - Geraldine - for the first 10 years or so because no one wanted anything to do with women. When she first looked for a job in the early 1960s, with a newly minted MBA with honors from a top school, interviewers had one question: "Can you type?" But her methodology is sound, understandable, and still works after 40 years.

I purchased this book and have found it to be very helpful when making stock market selections that produce value and dividends over time. There are many books on the market and many ways of approaching the purchase of stocks, but this book I believe is great for those who are new to investing and want to learn how to find stocks that will appreciate and grow. There is work that the person reading the book must do and there is a learning process involved, but it is very beneficial.
