Better quality than expected, all the hinges and screws were assembled tightly and packed well. Usually overlooked unless you've dealt with Shoji before the screws and hinges between each panel are often skimped on (bigtime) and must be inspected before purchase. I was hanging these for window treatments so my fingers were crossed but I expected to see the same level of crap as Pier One and the like. Happy to say that the hinges are actually seated and aligned properly with every screw in three screens tightened magically uniform.

The finish is very attractive in both the black and cherry and the fabric has been treated. One screen has been in service two months as of this posting around an incense urn and soot only collects on the wood; the white remains white.

Even with shipping, this is the best basic shoji I have found locally or online.

I bought one of these screens to use for a backdrop at an Expo. When it came in, I immediately ordered another one. The construction is good. The screen is light enough that I can easily carry it and it fits in my SUV when sliding it in at an angle. I used the 2 of them to create a dressing room at a trade show in order to apply body wraps to customer's abdominal area. (The draping at the back of the booth provided the back for the dressing room.) You cannot see through the panels and they worked perfectly!

I have used them at home when we are out of town to put in front of our picture window to block the view into our house from the highway.

The screens were very well packaged and were in perfect shape when I received them.

I would definitely purchase these again if I needed more in the future.

Product is priced at a deal, but it got banged up a bit during shipping. Didn't seem like a big deal at first, but the crack in the wood frame is starting to widen. That part is my own fault; should have exchanged it for a new one when it was delivered damaged.

Nevertheless, these room dividers are very useful. So, I'd buy from them again, and simply report any shipping issues should any arise.

Product is of good quality and made well. The reason I bought it is so that I can open my front door and have privacy. It works perfectly and can be arranged in different ways according to my liking.

This thing is well built, durable and looks very good.

The only thing I give it 4 stars is because of the shipping material used. its VERY thin and the wood showed some scratches done during shipping

So the Shoji Screen pretty much gets the job done and for $31.99 you can't complain much. However, for me, shipping came out to be $23 so I at least expected my product to come in good condition, nope.

Apparently, something punctured the box right in the front and left me with some broken wood on the frame and a hole in the screen. I realize that I shouldn't hold Werferniture accountable but I can't blame shipping when Werfurniture did not use any type of protective wrapping at all. No bubble wrap, no styrofoam, no packing peanuts; it was just the Shoji Screen in a box. As I recall, I'm not the only person whose order was damaged when they received it.

In the end, I decided against contacting Werfurniture for a replacement since shipping was pretty costly and I'd rather not spend another $23.

I still use the Shoji Screen, however, because, like I said, it gets the job done, but I'm still very unhappy with my purchase. If you want to get the Shoji Screen, buy it with caution and hope nothing happens to it during shipment.

Shoji screen was very FLIMSY. Please handle with caution! Otherwise, the product is as described.

Gorgeous shoji screen for the price. Shipping was a bit pricey, but the actual product is not usually found for such a steal. It looks great in our living room (which has slowly evolved into a more Asian-based theme). The packaging was great on this item - received in excellent condition.

Ordered it 3 days ago and arrived today. It is beautifully constucted. I wasn't sure if the panels could bend forward AND backwards, but they do. We ordered it for a sunroom to provide my wife some shade from the direct sun light late in the day and it does the job and looks fabulous. We will probably order another one as they are as good as ones we have seen for $110. Came packaged nicely with no issues and is light weight but stands firm still.

Screen arrived today, about a week after ordering. I'm happy with it. It's fairly sturdy, and does exactly what I need it to do (hide the cat-box!)

Screen should be shipped in better packaging so it does not get damaged, especially at the cost of the shipping.

Looks good. And even with the cost of shipping, it's a good deal.
