5.0 out of 5 stars Biblical Separation, January 5, 2009
This is an excellent book. The Dividing Line sheds light on the lines between truth and error as it pertains to the Christian's life. It helps understand what it means to be "holy" -- to be separate, to be "unique" (unlike the world).

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!!, June 18, 2007
On page 17, the author gives the most ridiculous "definition" of holiness I've ever seen!! And even though as someone I shared the comments with said - he redeems himself a tiny bit a few pages over, what most readers will remember is his supposed "definition".

And in pages 30 through 34 he totally contradicts himself, by citing scripture as to how we are to be separated from the unsaved of the world, and even EXPOSE their sin, and yet he then turns around and says we are to befriend them!!

Because of the above problems, I'm ready to "toss" the book, even though I'm only part way through Chapter 3.

If someone wants to read this book, for the FEW good points it has, then they should get it through a library, but I feel buying a copy for their own collection, would be a waste of money, even if they buy a used copy.

The author cites many other books on the topic, and from the citations I've read, I think it would be far better to spend one's time reading those other books - not this one.
