Dr. France has slowly become one of my favorite scholars to read. An expert in the synoptic gospels, he has a great grasp of the relevant material and is able to interact with other scholars accessibly. A concise overview of the issue of God's kingdom, Dr. France elaborates on this important topic, doing so with a motive to challenge the, what has become, traditional understanding of the "kingdom." This book will help you think of the kingdom in a more dynamic way, especially as it is discussed through the eyes of Mark. Open your Bible and get ready to study!
