Wow, what a book. It is actually more than just a book. Books normally give just you more ideas and other peoples experiances. This book is direct from the source. I am from a traditional Christian family home and i today still believe that Christ is Lord. I have wondered about the lack of "transforming power" in peoples lives who follow the Saviour. I have learnt that the very things that we hold onto, like rigid beliefs, are the very things which prevent us from knowing God as He is. Fights and Division occur when we believe in our beliefs as if they are God, our beliefs about God are just beliefs about God. God is much more than a belief. I can believe that cars exist but my belief in itslef is not a car. There is one Reality, The Reality, which is God's Love. And then there is what we make of it - Personal reality. Realise that personal reality exists only in the physical and is an illusion: the false. Personal reality leaves alot to the imagination for we don't see Reality as it is; we see reality as we are, through our beliefs, by which we interpret what we see through our existing miss-conceptions. That is why the mind of man cannot express Reality for wha it is. Only can the mind of man express Reality for what it is not. The mind can only formulate ideas, ldeals and beliefs based on it's own experiance. Ideas, ideals and beliefs can easily be changed for better ones adopted from someone who supposedly is more enlightened; but the Truth unlike the mind of man is "unchangeable". Ideas of the mind can never be the truth. When Christ said "be still and know that I am God", He was telling us to still the mind - to know Me stop making up mental formulations that block your relization of Me. It is acceptance of "that" He is and not "What" He is. The "what" is only the mental once agian trying to understand the indescribable; He said "I am that I am". Intellectually describe what a strawberry "tastes" like; you can't because the experiance is not in the mind - just like experiancing God. Personal reality, "the self/ego/personality", create in the mind only separation as it focuses on differences and opposites - all of these exist only as perceptions and are only in the mind of man. God's Love, is the Reality, and is only "one-ness". God is the omnipresent, the all in all, anything else is a fall in consciousness. For what shall separate us from the Love of God. Read Romans 11:33-36, Matthew 15: 7-9 and Proverbs 2:2,10 & 3:5.

In my early 20s I was very drawn to the book Divine Healing of Mind and Body, as it brought into reality all the unconscious and unspoken thoughts I had felt about man's purpose for being here in this world. As a seeker it definitely was a beacon light for guiding my unfolding spiritual understanding. Then by age 39 I decided to visit South Africa in order to meet with the original students who attended MacDonald-Bayne's lectures in J'burg and Pretoria, even those who were present during the talks given by the Master in Divine Healing of Mind and Body. I can honestly say that it became a turning point in my existence and has since become my life's work. Who can say how we are guided along the way, perhaps unconsciously, into fulfilling our purpose for entering this world? I feel it has been so with me. This book made me realize how much we are directed at times, perhaps unknowingly, into a vast and sacred realm of spiritual knowledge that goes beyond intellect. If you are looking for confirmation of Spirit's Reality, the Presence of Universal Love and Knowledge in our midst, then this is the book.

The discovery of "Divine Healing" was far beyond myexpectations. It is The Master's words and instructions presentedthrough a devoted disciple in the fullness of time to a humanity in great need.

For once we hear His pure voice unadulterated and unconformed to the ways of men's agendas. The mysteries of the Gospels fade in the clear Light of His voice and He tells us of the Father's great love for His children. We hear parables explained and the depth of Spirit shown in a new way.

This is an unparalleled book that was not merely written, but was copied from very early wire recordings of the actual presentation. This is not a book for "the Led." It is a primer for those wanting to taste and see and make their way in courage and faith and the strength of Spirit. The life and writings of Dr.MacDonald-Bayne is mostly unknown in today's world, but his writings can be found and they are worth every effort to pursue. These further works are not funded or provided by an organized group. It is only rare individuals courageously holding a lit flame in the way of vanishing manuscripts getting copies out on limited resources and on a one at a time basis. Fortunately, "Divine Healing" is freely available and still being discovered by new generations.

If you feel that the original message of Jesus was manipulated and he is still largely unknown, you can now hear His voice talking to your heart. You can hear Him assuring you that death is an empty threat to the Spirit and man's connection to the Highest remains for him to experience through the Christ in your ownself.

Monumental courage and many years of inner training in remote places preceeded the gift of this rare visit to a fortunate audience. Now you also sit at the Master's feet and know the sound of His voice telling you about the blessedness of Life and the obstacle blocking man's way. We were meant to know these things, and so they were given again in "new wineskins". Your search from this point only gets richer. No one will ask you to join anything and no one will seek your donations. This is the gift of the Spirit that your heart may be full and your burden light. So Mote it Be!

This book is the most important book in my spritiual library. So awesome that I have purchased four or five copies for friends. They all feel exactly the same about this book.

This is one of my all time favorites and one I no longer loan out. It provides wisdom from the fountain of wisdom and brings the reader into the direct teachings of the Master that were too revolutionary for the early church leaders and many churches today. We are living in the times that require truth beyond what official sources are willing to trickle out for their personal benefit. Now we have more light available concerning the inner Christ that lives and abides in each and every one. We hear Jesus'own voice teach us the meaning of the hard sayings and the depth of his parables. Jesus told us that we can't expect to put the NEW WINE he was offering in OLD WINESKINS, and that is precisely what happened to his words as they were passed down through the official channels. His words are timely and necessary today to realize the Christ nature behind all and within each one. Divine Healing is more about healing our hearts to restore our lost nature than about the individual aspects of disease. It is the key to Christ consciousness from one who bravely put it on to show the possibilities for man's consciousness. As Jesus said very appropriately, "for those with ears to hear." I would recommend this easy to read book for anyone wanting to know the Truth Jesus laid down his life for... and still wonders how man came so far away from Peace and Love in our contentious world...

I was born and raised in the Catholic Church and at age 22 began practicing Transcendental Meditation. This book, Divine Healing of Mind and Body, is the one book that best knits together my experience in both of those spiritual disciplines. This is a must read for all who are interested in understanding how Jesus the Christ came to teach all of us how to attain the same Christ-Consciousness that he lived while physically on this planet. I have read and reread this book almost yearly for the past 30 years. The only book that I have read as often, and can recommend as highly, is the Bhagavad Gita as translated by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of Transcendental Meditation. You will rapidly hasten your experience of the one Spirit that is Life itself when you read Divine Healing of Mind and Body. I have given copies to friends and strangers. Give one to yourself and enjoy the fulfillment of your yearning to know the unity that is God in you - and all of life - as the individualized consciousness of Christ expressing Itself as you. The Christ is a consciousness, based in the Love of our Almighty Father, and this consciousness of the Christ is available to us all, right within the inner chamber of our hearts. Enjoy all of it, all the time.

Excellent book. Giving insights into Christ Conciousness and earth personality.
Even the Master had to withdraw from his earth personality Jesus to connect with Christ Conciousnes.

IT is the teaching of Christ of what is.
Not the usual bible from the church.

For those who believe that Jesus still speaks to people today, and that he may manifests himself on various levels, this book will provide a twentieth century iterpretation of the teachings of Jesus from The Master himself. The introduction explains well why the material is so authentic, from the point of view of people other than the author. The lectures that were delivered by The Master (Jesus) through the author (a physician) to an exclusive audience were then put into this book form. The book sheds new light on many familiar passages from the bible and adds insight to poorly understood scriptures. After studying this book on and off for years, I can testify firsthand that integrating this material into my consciousness little by little has helped transform my life in a very positive way. Dr. Bayne often spoke of the mental transformation that is needed for "the truth to set us free." On a scale of 1-10 of all religious and spiritual books I would give it a rating of 10.

This is the best book I have read. It may the things that I have read clear, and gave purpose to my life. I hope they reprint it as I want to give it to my children and grandchildren.
