Review

Divine Intervention rings out with rare clarity and accessibility a universal message of personal healing and growth... --wami Ramananda President of the Integral Yoga Institute, New York

Over the years I've done some sporadic reading of a cross-section of spiritual material and have found this book to be approachable and refreshing in delivering its healing and poignant message. I am looking forward to renewing and developing my Soul Power and embracing the Universal Force. I encourage all skeptics and those interested in the spiritual realm to embrace Divine Intervention . It s a concise poignant and approachable guide to accessing divine wisdom. The simplicity in the delivery of its message is a great starting point for those newly embarking on the path towards spiritual growth and also serves as a gentle reminder for those already on the path to stay the course, surrender to and embrace the Universal Force...Love. --Sue B. - 40, Ontario, Canada

Divine Intervention is a fantastic introduction to the truth that is available to everyone seeking deeper meaning in their lives. Ms. Shapiro shows tremendous courage in sharing the messages she receives from her guides in this powerful book. Through these messages, the reader is introduced to many steps and awarenesses that they can call forward in their own life. The reader comes away from the book with ways to live a life in alignment and on purpose. --Sarah A. - 45, California, USA

More About the Author

Sarah Shapiro-Barnard, RYT, LCSW, is a popular workshop leader, psychotherapist and an author. Over her 20 year career, she has helped hundreds of people gain insight into the connection between physical illness, emotions and Spiritual life lessons. She has a wealth of professional experience including over 12 years in private practice in New York City, work as a clinical consultant on Wall Street for Fortune 500 companies, and work as a psychotherapist at an addictions treatment Center in New York City.

She is a popular workshop leader and she has taught at many renowned venues such as the New York Open Center, Om Yoga and the Integral Yoga Institute in New York. Sarah teaches perennial philosophy: connecting the river of Truth that flows beneath all spiritual paths. Her book "Divine Intervention: Spiritual Teachings for the New Millennium" (2001), connects modern psychology and metaphysical principles. Sarah is a channel for Higher Wisdom. She was guided to create the Divine Intervention Audio Series to help people all over the world gain access to this Wisdom.

At a very young age, Sarah was "guided" to become a psychotherapist so that she could teach the "architecture of the psyche" to help people to stay grounded in their quest for healing and Spiritual awakening. She is particularly drawn to the work of Carl Jung who clearly asserts that we cannot "skip" the pain of our past and simply states: "The only way out is through" Carl Jung.

Sarah's workshops and audio teachings weave together the practical applications of yoga philosophy, Jungian Archetypal Psychology and modern Psychology into daily life. The work is the culmination of 20 + years of experience as a psychotherapist, healer and a yoga teacher. She is down to earth, practical and she is known to have a good sense of humor.

Sarah wishes to assist you on your journey to emotional, physical and spiritual wellness.

I'm not exactly a newcomer when it comes to books on spirituality and self-help. I found this book quite appealing in its simple, straightforward pace. It conveys the importance of self-knowledge and self-inquiry in the pursuit of spiritual growth, in a clear, easy-to-understand fashion and avoids being "wordy" or "semantic." I'd highly recommend it to those on the spiritual path as well as those just beginning their journeys.

For me this little book was packed with many great spiritual insights. It has a beautiful simple style which makes both the message and concepts easy to comprehend. Though I loved the book I will say however that much of the information mentioned was quite familiar to me. Would still highly recommend it
