5.0 out of 5 stars simply sublime!, October 2, 2011
Scott Marmorstein's book Divine Moments and Caramel Apples is a priceless gem. It reads much like the famous Sufi poets, Rumi and Hafiz. It is a "little book" with a BIG PUNCH. I was astounded by the wisdom that such a young man could offer, but this is no surprise when you read he met his spiritual teacher when he was 5. Scott shares his deepest questions, insights, and experiences as a seeker on the spiritual path. Each offering is so potent that it ignites inspiration and begs contemplation. A perfect read before bed or to support you during your day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful tidbits to contemplate on every page!, October 2, 2011

If you're seeking a new way to be in the world, a way not selfish and ego-driven, Scott's book has a lot to offer. It contains lots of great contemplations, each one short enough to read in one sitting, so you can consider them and apply them as you move through your day. My favorite one was this: "Freedom is everywhere and nowhere.... It is up to each of us to recognize that it is only our search for this freedom which occludes its already apparent status. When you become attached to something, for the sake of freedom you will have to let it go. If you don't let it go, you stay anchored in whatever misery your mind creates"... page 17. For the sake of freedom you will have to let it go! Yes! I very much want to be free of mind-created misery. Truly, I've had enough. How about you?

5.0 out of 5 stars Something so small that gives you so much!!, December 20, 2011

Divine Moments & Caramel Apples transports the reader into a new realm of perception and greater awareness. Avoiding fancy lingo and unnecessary clichés, Scott writes in a way that appeals to the everyday person. I enjoyed reading this short book, which provided so much for me to meditate on after reading it. It was a great write, just like his other writings and I look forward to reading more in the future! I would definitely recommend it and being that it's affordable, it would also make a great stocking stuffer!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational, October 2, 2011
Scott is able to get to the Truth of spiritual life in a sweet, down to earth way. He offers little bites that deserve to be chewed thoroughly and digested long after putting the book down. Freedom, peace, self created misery or delight. Scott Marmostein gives much to contemplate. Sweetly insightful.
