Book Description

January 2003
Over 1600 Scriptures examined from the Old and New Testaments.

The title of this series of studies, The Divine Plan of the Ages, suggests a progression in the Divine arrangement, foreknown to our God and orderly.

The Bible reveals that God's ultimate purpose for the world of mankind is to fulfill His promise to faithful Abraham, "In thee and in thy seed shall I bless all the families of the earth." But even to honest-hearted Christians, that promise still seems far from its fulfillment and many questions persist.

These and many other important Bible topics are discussed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally the answers I was searching for!, November 17, 2004
This review is from: The Divine Plan of the Ages: An Illustrated Edition (Paperback)
God's ways are mysterious, but as an all-loving, all-wise Creator, I believe that He has allowed His creatures that desire to, to know him in an intimate father-child relationship. But looking around in this crazy, war-filled world, one sometimes wonders "Where is He?" and "Why isn't God doing anything to help us if He loves us so much?" This book showed me how to put the pieces in place - by studying the Bible topically instead of trying to read it in order, and by learning that certain principles valid in one time period can't be applied to others. There are so many little clues and treasures in the Bible that easily are missed - but so many "coincidences" that once found, it is easy to believe that the Bible truly is divinely inspired. The timeline Chart of the Ages is especially helpful in deciphering exactly how God has been dealing with man throughout the ages, and what the ultimate plans and purposes are, with the "aha!" reason as to why God permits evil. I recommend the book highly to anyone searching for truth and wanting something firm to hold on to during the "time of trouble" the Bible speaks about. Keep your Bible close by because many, many scripture texts are cited throughout the lessons.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Lords' Return What 's His Object?, November 26, 2004
This review is from: The Divine Plan of the Ages: An Illustrated Edition (Paperback)
The author is very clear about a number of Bible subjects. He quotes quite a few scriptures and gives answers about a number of topics. He is an understandable writer. We appreciated the chapter on our Lords' return as there are a lot of different ideas about what His return is to accomplish. It's worth the time to read.
