About the Author

Eric Hanauer just missed out on the pioneer era, beginning diving in 1959. A widely published writer and photographer, over 300 of his articles have appeared in diving magazines at home and abroad. He is the author of The Egyptian Red Sea, the definitive guidebook to this premier region. An instructor since 1961. Eric is associate professor of kinesiology and diving safety officer at California State Univesity, Fullerton.
