I live in Utila in the Bay Islands in Honduras and i see many people arriving with this book in their hand and all of them tell me that they use it all of the time and it is an invaluable source of information.

I myself have seen it and read it i would say that it is the best travel guide on Honduras it gives you all the information you will need.

This book delivers what it promises. It offers a complete evaluation of all the dive/snorkel sites in the Bay Islands - what features each site possesses and what fish. As a snorkeler, I appreciated the detail about which areas are ideal for snorkeling and which can be accessed by the shore. The book does not go into detail about the operators, which is fine by me. Also, you still might want to invest in a regular travel guide for the rest of Honduras. But it bears repeating that this book is exceptionally complete in covering all the diving spots off the northern coast of Honduras. If you plan to do any diving at all, I wouldn't be without it.
