5.0 out of 5 stars neat little toy
This sub is a neat little toy. Took me a while to get it to work correctly. I wasn't putting enough backing powder in so it just sat on the top and didn't sink. Fulled around with it for about 10 minutes until i figured out the right thing to do. My son is a little to young yet to really understand and enjoy it yet. Meanwhile i am.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent toy, but not great
The toy was fun, but didn't work exactly as hoped. But this is the nature of this type of toy, so I didn't expect a lot. My son had a great time with it so I'm happy.

Of the many BP Subs I own, this is one of the best working subs. It's a modern remake, but it's funcitonality is great! For anybody interested in Baking Powder subs, this is a great place to start!!!

I actually bought this as a surprise for my little grandson. He saw one in the gift shop at Georgia Aquarium. He didn't buy it and really wanted one. I phoned the aquarium but they were sold completely out. I was lucky to find it on Amazon. We've had sooo much fun. Goes forever with a little bit of powder. Nice to have simple toys. Sandie

This is a fun toy submarine that can actually be educational. Kids will want to know how the baking soda makes it dive, travel, and surface. Great impromptu science lesson!

This submarine is actually much smaller than the picture looks- maybe 2 inches long? Still works as advertised and my kids like it, though the top piece that you take off to add the baking powder is exceptionally tiny, and one day I thought it had gone down the bath drain in which case this toy would not have worked anymore. Luckily I found it, but you do have to keep track of the top piece, and your kids are constantly taking it off to look inside at the bubbling baking powder.

Not impressed with the toy at all. It's tiny (a little bit over 4" long). I is supposed to dive after you fill it with baking soda. It does go down if you do it everything correctly. But if you make a slight mistake in putting too much or not enough baking soda, it won't do it. Especially it's hard to put the baking powder after the submarine was under the water and the opening to put the powder in is pretty small. Not worth the money even though it's pretty cheap. My son lost his interested in it pretty fast.

Although this toy was inexpensive, it only worked one time. Regardless of refilling the top with baking powder, it only sinks and stays at the bottom.

I bought this for my son because I loved the one like it I got from a Capt'n Crunch box when I was little. He loves it as much as I did mine, he actually asks to take baths now just so he can play with it.

Not very much fun. Its basically a plastic submarine, forget about baking powder thing, it works but barely, the water needs to be really still and its not fizzy or anything, just a few bubbles.
