Easily one of my favorite cd's ever.
S. Stanton
Although the slower songs are good, 10 Years is better with the heavier songs.
S. Hovorka
These guys just get better with every album.

I have written a couple of reviews for other albums on here, and I am amazed at the incredible brililance and quality of some (Alter Bridge- Blackbird; Hurt- VOl. II), but not all, of the rock released over the past 12 months out. Division from 10 years is quite simply, astounding.

I am not even quite sure how to articulate how good Division is, other than to say that it is so complex, layered, emotional, and brilliant, that it would just make me downright sick to my stomach if this album does not become an essential rock album for every single person in America who calles themselves a hard rock fan. I don't know what is happening to rock in America- it seems like albums such as Division should sell 20 million copies given it's quality, but I don't know. I certainly hope it provides big success for the band.

For anyone remotely considering purchasing this album, By all means, please purchase it with all deliberate speed, and listen to it a few times. let it sink in. You will find that songs you initially thought were brilliant, stay that way, and get better, and other songs on the album that you might not have thought were brilliant initially, will envelop you with the layers, textures, and soaring vocals, and will stay with you all day and night. It is exactly what happened to me. Into my third listen, I just opened my eyes, and said, "This is brilliant." I honestly believe that you will be grateful that you got it. I have said this before about some other albums, major marketing muscle needs to be put behind this album- the label needs to make an investment here. People need to be exposed to this band.
Thank you all for reading, and i hope you enjoy Division as much as I did.

First of all, these guys are extremely underrated. Not many people have heard of 10 years and that is a shame because they write damn good music. Division is on the softer side when compared to their debut, but the songs are written very well and they are very deep. There are alot more acoustic and clean-toned interludes on this album than previously, but I would not say that is a con. The lyrics are amazing and that is to be expected, Hasek really knows how to write powerful and rich lyrics. The production on the album is also amazing. Great record! A must have!

Just saw this band at Rock on the Range and I have to say, they were fantastic. I had never heard of them until I saw their name in the lineup and I'm really glad I didn't miss them. Their sound is heavy but melodic and well written. I highly recommend this band and hope that they overcome their underrated status because they are very much deserving. Phenomenal overall production and now that I'm on board as a big fan, I'll be spreading the word as well. Check these guys out! You won't be disappointed!

Division is one of the most perfect cd's I have ever heard. From start to finish I was amazed at the musicianship and Jesse's vocals. The stand out tracks for me are 11:00 AM DayDramer, Russian Roulette, Just Can't Win, Picture Perfect, and All Your Lies. Check out So Long, Goodbye, it is the most beautiful song they have ever written. Before listening to it I didn't know what to expect and I was hoping it was going to be as good as the Autumn Effect, but I was amazed and I like it better. If you like 10 years or just appreciate music, buy this!!!!

Honestly, when i first heard "Beautiful" months and months ago i was a little skeptical. The song for a while just sounded a little boring and bland... but over time i grew to really appreciate the message and overall vibe the song presents. When i bought the album and as soon as i gave it 1 listen through... i was sold. It was well worth the long wait that i was extremely anxious for. The cd takes you on a journey from start to finish, through the diversity this album presents. Jesse Hasek's voice and lyrics are astounding and extremely inspiring. This record has really made me look at my own songwriting skills in a different way. Easily one of my favorite cd's ever. I don't think i will be able to ever pick out favorites from the album i love them all!

I won't repeat what others have said...it's definitely a solid CD, and with 13 tracks listed, it's actually more like 15 since Daydreamer and In your Eyes are essentially songs of their own, one being instrumental, the other acoustic guitar with spoken word overlayed by none other than former American Idol finalist Alaina Alexander! Anyone remember her? lol She was friends with Antonella Barba. I read in the credits for the CD that Alaina did the backing vocals in Proud of You (although barely noticeable) and she also does the spoken word for In Your Eyes, but the CD insert titles the song as Planets 2. Maybe that was it's initial title? Who knows, but on the back of the case its shows it listed as In Your Eyes. Anyway...cool CD, definitely worth getting...and I can't believe Amazon is now selling it for only $6.99! That's almost 2 for the price of one compared to many other CD's. I got mine at Target though for $7.98...not bad either.
One more thing...All Your Lies they had posted on their myspace page for awhile in demo form (last year)...which was a bit heavier than the one on the CD but I guess the CD is just more mixed, etc...still good though!

Heavier/faster tracks:
All Your Lies
Russian Roulette (sounds the most like something from The Autumn Effect)
Actions and Motives
Just Can't Win
Picture Perfect
Alabama
11:00am (*should* have been the first single instead of Beautiful..good chorus...catchy)
Drug of Choice

Somewhere in the middle:
Beautiful (token power ballad)
Focus (STP esque)
Dying Youth (starts softer, gets louder in the middle/end...good song)

Softer:
So Long, Goodbye
Proud of You
Daydreamer (second part of 11:00am)
In Your Eyes (second part of Picture Perfect)
