Il Divo is an exceptionally talented group of beautiful voices. The first DVD was excellent -- it was actually a full concert! The DVD with the CD of The Promise was, to my mind, a complete bust. I consider it a waste of money to have only 3 pieces of music included. The Coliseum DVD, while it does contain more music (5 pieces) is still mostly conversation. While this is interesting, it is not my reason for buying a DVD. I will not purchase another Il Divo DVD unless I know first that I am actually purchasing music!

I thought that they would have the entire list of songs on the dvd as were on their cd of The Promise.
Five songs only. Il Divo are great singers and I love listening to them. When I buy a dvd of a concert, I want more that 5 songs. I was very disappointed in this dvd. Sellers please list the contents of cds and dvds.

Sinnce the Il Divo is from Britain, be aware that this will be in PAL (Europe format) and it will not work on most U.S DVD player. They tend to put NTSC but it turned out to be PAL. It happened many times when the group is Europ-based.

I love Il Divo, couldn't wait to see video. However, the video only last about a half hour. Only six songs on video. I would recommend Il Divo Live at the Greek over this one. Live at the Greek is a full concert.

star rating is that it is only a few songs. If it had been the complete
new album of all their latest songs I would have rated five stars.

The video was awesome.I'd watch it again and again. I already purchased the CD so I already heard the songs that they sang on the video but watching them singing was even better and WOW!!! :-) So for those Il Divo fans buy both CD and the Video. It's woth it!!! :-)

As a person who has all the DVD's, C.D.s and books so far produced by Il Divo and who has attended concerts on both of their World Tours and is looking forward to seeing them again, in Victoria in May, this DVD is very interesting, especially the documentary bringing us up to date on how the boys are still in the grip of all the potential of their future endeavors. Of course the music is always enjoyable - in The Promesa my favorite has to be the Halleluyah, I play it over and over.

My parents loved the video of Amazing Grace at the Pula Colliseum when they saw it, so when I saw it listed I got this DVD for them. Il Divo is a talented group and songs like Amazing Grace, Alelujiaj, Ava Maria (not on this one), Adagio, etc., really suit them. The locations also add a lot to the overall wow factor. They can do without covering some of the pop songs which I do not think do justice for their style (just my opinion).

Long story short, if you've seen the any of the songs performed at the Pula Colliseum online or on tv and enjoyed the performance, I think this DVD is worth the price.

These guys are fantastic! I have just become acquainted with their music and could sit for hours and listen to them even when they are not singing in English and I don't understand what they are singing about.

Let's say up front that I'm a fan of Il Divo and their harmonies. Magic happens when their voices blend. Their version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah is uniquely beautiful. Opera fans will especially enjoy the Adagio. The interviews with Urs, Seb, Carlos and David are also very interesting.
I should add that I viewed a PAL version of this DVD so hopefully the Region 1 version is the same except for the coding.
Wouldn't it be nice if those Region codes disappeared someday?
