Editorial Reviews

Review

...a comprehensive and easy-to-use reference for couples in distressed relationships. Now couples facing divorce can go to one convenient place to learn about the best print and electronic resources available, thereby saving themselves time, dollars, and frustration in this challenging and inevitably stressful process. -- Midwest Book Review

...an excellent, comprehensive guidebook of resources dealing with divorce...positive theme of hope as it guides readers through the stages of divorce...highly recommended. -- Choice, Reviews For Academic Libraries

...contains significant references for each of the major aspects of divorce, including the frequently overlooked or minimized area of children's concerns, the unpleasant issue of finances, and even life after divorce. A special feature of this volume is the multiple indexing by author, title, publisher, or subject, again making easy the task of finding appropriate materials with added stress or anxiety. This book is very highly recommended...An excellent wealth of resources. -- Catholic Library World

...this guide will provide much help to people in need of this information but with limited time to spend on research...includes a number of unique titles, along with Internet resources, which many people will find useful. -- Booklist, Reference Books Bulletin

Dr. Rich Wemhoff has, with warmth and compassion, created a much needed resource for couples in seriously distressed relations...An invaluable guide that will save time, emotional energy, and money at a time when these are at a premium. -- Carol E. Hall, M.S.W., A.C.S.W., Children's Mental Health Specialist, Seattle, Washington

Its purpose is twofold: (1) to help those divorcing understanding the issues involved and provide an overview needed to work through the process of divorce, and (2) provide a direct source of the BEST resources to help prepare for one's positive participation in resolving the issues. The principle benefit of this book, says Dr. Wemhoff, 'is to match specific needs with the variety of resources that have been created to help'...a valuable tool for the mediator as a referral source to be shared with clients-certainly a welcome addition to the bookshelf. -- Mediation News, Academy of Family Mediators

We'd give this book four stars for its thoroughness and for the fact that readers can save a lot of time and money if they look at it before investing in any other resource. -- San Francisco Bay Area Parent
