I enjoyed Divorce Interrupted (Second Chances) by Jill James it was a relaxing read. Yet the underlying premise behind this story rings close to many who live out a comfortable familiarity where family tasks and second roles can smother the very reason couples are drawn together. Very clever, Jill James has found just that little piece more to drive a fine romance along. Five Stars.

Jill James did a great job portraying very realistically the damage done to a marriage and how circumstances, including bad weather and isolation, can force two people to remember the love they once shared. If you like realism and action and drama mixed with your romance, you should give this one a try.

Jill James definitely made a tough subject work. I read the first page, wanting to like the characters. I always do, but thought, hmm would I be able to forgive and move on? Ms James seamlessly took me from holding back to rooting for reconciliation. Well done.
