5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and Simple Reading, May 22, 2000

I am clueless about the legal system and this book was at a level that I could understand. It was simply written without being condensending. It sure took the fear out of going through a first time divorce. It even explains the pros and cons of hiring a lawyer and how to hire one. I would definentaly reccommend this book to anyone going through a divorce.

Ok, I filled out all the forms, but if your divorse is contested, forget it. Nobody in the court system will help you without a Lawyer. And the procedure for contested divorse is lacking...my advice... if it's contested....get a Lawyer (in that case, why do I need the book?).
