great option!
I use this for breading fish or chicken. Add some spices to the mix, coat the meat with milk or a beaten egg, roll in corn muffin mix and then fry - awesome! Great option for those looking for low carb- not easy to find these days!

Not like cornbread at all
These are more like eggy bread than corn bread, in both taste and texture. There is none of the gritty texture of cornbread, and not really any of the taste either. The product was edible but not worth the price paid, in my opinion. I am curious about the other posters use as breading, but not willing to shell out the cash to try it.
