This Readers Digest version of Dixieland Swing is not recommended.It lacks authentic liner notes and details of recording dates etc It is also highly suspect since one of the tracks (#8) contains the song "Java" which was not written until 1958. The Bob Crosby Band did not exist after 1942 and all of their best recording were made between 1938 and 1941 I am planning to return it! Rpmolloy@verizon.net |
