The best feature of this pencil marker is the tear pull string for sharpening. When you sharpen a regular colored pencil, you are not only shaving the wood but also the lead itself; so you are throwing away almost half of the lead to waste. Not only sharpening this way is much easier but is also more fun. I work in an engineering consulting firm and we are mostly using these for marking drawings. Compared to a regular highlighter, it also has an advantage of being water resistant. No smudge for sweaty palms.

Likewise you can use it for marking wood, glass, plastic and metal projects. On smoother surfaces, it is great temporary markers as you can wipe off the markings very easily.

I definitely like this marker.
The only problem is that when I tried to peel off the paper, the quality is really bad.
