One of the best gypsy jazz albums i've ever heard. Jimmy and Andres Oberg are utterly fantastic together.... Who can criticize Jimmy's playing? If not for his habitual problems, he would be at the top of the jazz world. Get this album if you like this type of music. I had to buy it via MP3 - i would have worn out the CD from constant replay. My favorite piece is Seul Ce Soir; it evokes emotion in the listener it's so beautiful

Jimmy Rosenberg can play. He remains more or less tightly fixed within a specific genre of music, and I see he's been criticized for this by some listeners. But hey, he's got remarkably chops and the music he plays is genuine and at times striking--which is more than can be said for 95% of the stuff out there.
