I remember many many years ago when my then-roommate (who is 7 years my senior) said "Dude, there's a lot of early punk rock you don't even know about." He pulled out "Raw Power" by The Stooges, MC5's first album, and DMZ. I was pretty insulted that he assumed I'd never heard of The Stooges or MC5, but I'd never heard of DMZ so I refrained from challenging him to a fist fight. And after he played the record for me, I felt like I owed him one for cluing me in to a truly awesome and kick ass band.

If your a fan of Sonics/ Stooges cocktails this is the band for you.Twisted guitar work and the antics of Monoman at "11" is what makes this the reissue of the year.Get this and you'll figure out just where these so call
ed " cool new bands" get their sound from.Vintage 1978 Boston Rock and Roll.

I bought this record back in 78', because I wanted some new sound. And the new sound was a new, raw, rocking'n'rolling sound. Some friends said it was punkrock, but I did'nt care. Punk is good enough for me. I'd like when Mono Mann cried out the words in the old Sonics song: Cinderella. Even songs like "Mighty Idy" and "Don't jump me mother" freaks me out. Curly hair all over my body. The DMZ even relised a album called "The relics". What more can I say, this one is one of my favorites.
