4.0 out of 5 stars It is Fun
I bought this product to use for my .22 rifle. After assembling the product, which took all of 5 minutes, I took the .22 trap down to my local the rifle range and started to plink away. The .22 trap worked great every time you hit one of the red arms would flip up to show a hit. After hitting all the red arms up all I had to do to reset them was to hit the silver arm...

it is a neat idea but unless you have the target mounted at just the right angle, all the targets won't stay up. I think you also have to be careful about what type of .22 amo you use. I was using some real old bullets and they are disfiguring a couple of the targets. It's a neat idea and it's fun but could use some improvement. I would still reccommend it to other people...

4.0 out of 5 stars It is Fun, July 22, 2007
I bought this product to use for my .22 rifle. After assembling the product, which took all of 5 minutes, I took the .22 trap down to my local the rifle range and started to plink away. The .22 trap worked great every time you hit one of the red arms would flip up to show a hit. After hitting all the red arms up all I had to do to reset them was to hit the silver arm. Then the red arms fell down as the product was designed to do. I had lots of fun down at the range with my new .22 trap.

When using the .22 trap I did run into a few minor problems. The first problem I ran into was not putting the Trap onto level ground. When the .22 trap was on the unleveled ground after hitting one of the red arms it would not stay up to show a hit but instead the arm would just swing. You could tell that you hit your target. The other problem I found with the .22 trap was that the yellow target stickers they give you with the .22 trap came off after a few hits with a .22 rifle or handgun. Although you don't need the stickers you can see the arms of the .22 trap with out the stickers. But if you like to have them the .22 trap comes with a website to buy more target stickers for your .22 trap.

I was very satisfied with this product.

It was the big hit at the range. Nothing beats the instant gratification of knowing you hit the target.

This is neat! It does what it says, reset is cool. I use subsonic rounds so the targets just swing. Just as cool!

The only complaint I have is that there was a small part missing, but my husband was able to use a couple of washers in it's place, and made it work. Otherwise, it looks like it's going to be lots of fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Reset Target, June 28, 2011

I bought this for my wife and I to practice our shooting. We think it is a lot of fun. I gave it a 4, because I have not been able to shoot it and get all 4 of the targets to stay up. I could get 2 to stay up, but once I shot the 3rd, the other 2 would fall down. It may not have been on level enough ground or it wasn't secured well enough? We didn't really care, because it was still fun to shoot. You always at least know when you hit the target.

I think this target is really fun though. My wife and I went through at least 150 rounds really quick and we had a blast. When it gets shot the paint has come off of the metal, but that is expected. It's paint. The metal has not dented at all. The target is made of about 1/4" metal and the target have about a 2.5" diameter.

I like the target and I am excited to use it some more.

4.0 out of 5 stars better than paper!, February 5, 2011

I have used this 4 times now, and I really like it. I've hit this thing with probably 300 rds and it keeps on going.

The targets are small and that's why I didn't give it a 5 star rating, but I'm getting to be real good at hitting small targets now.

The .22lr bullets do little damage other than take the paint off, however, don't let a friend borrow your AK and take a shot at it. Goes right through.

I have 3 do all targets and I'm happy with all of them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of Money, falls apart after very first use., December 27, 2009

I received this target for a gift after placing it on my Amazon wish list. It was easy to assemble. I placed it at 30 yards and shot it with a 10 round clip from my Rugar MK III Comp. It fell to pieces on the very first use. The pins used to keep it together were laying on the ground around it as the target arms fell to the ground. I took it to my shop and pushed them back in attempting to secure them a bit more than they had come. Once again I took it to the range and unloaded a clip. Once again it fell apart. COMPLETE JUNK.
