The Postmount is fully adjustable, with a patented three-pivot mount that allows you to throw 90 to 100 yards in any direction.

Thanks to the sliding adjustable spring clip on the throwing arm, you can launch any of the five standard targets as either singles or stacked doubles with the convenience of a three-quarter cock. Unlike with a full cock, a three-quarter cock turns only 75 percent of the way through the cycle when the target is thrown, and only requires the trapper to push the arm through the last quarter of the arc. Subsequently, the true roller-bearing clutch and counterbalanced arm assure that the final quarter motion is accomplished with a minimum of effort, so people of any age can operate it with ease. When the target is thrown, the arm cycles 3/4 of the way through the cycle, only requiring the trapper to push the arm through the last 1/4 of the arc. Love this trap. It is very easy to cock. Amazon sent mine in slightly used condition but made it right. I contacted the Do-All company first by error ( it was not their fault) - they sent me out a new arm at no cost.
Get the wobbler kit - it makes the unit even better and the shooting much more fun.

Would have given it 5 stars, but the allen bolts that hold the throwing arm stripped with almost no force. I went to the local hardware store, and found suitable replacements. Once I got it together, it works great. Very easy to cock, and throws clays an easy 80 to 90 yards. Fast shipping from Amazon.

This thrower seems to be a quality piece that works well. The 3/4 cock mechanism makes cocking the thrower a good bit easier. My goal was to have my 5 yr old son throw for me. He cannot quite cock it on his own, but he is certaily capable of "pulling". Mounting on a post at waist heigth is really nice if you are used to the ground mounted units. The throwing action is smooth and not jerky or wobbly as I expected it might be on a post. Using decent clays it has yet to break one at throw. Throw distance seems to be roughly 50 yds, but I have not yet played with spring tension, so it may go further.
