5.0 out of 5 stars Great Trap for the Money
I sought out a trap with a seat for comfort sake as well as practical. I have had "Stake in the Ground" traps in the past and wasn't pleased. This item hits it out of the park. I can even throw multiple clays with it. Two days after getting this, 10 guys gathered for a shoot, and what a time we had. This is just as advertized. The Do-All website as well as just...

3.0 out of 5 stars Do-all outdoors single full cock trap
This is a nice trap for the price. You get what you pay for. The spring arm has good action, but the bolts don't hold well under regular use. The settings are easy to adjust if you don't mind playing with it at first. Once we had it set it was easy to keep the clays on target for the kids. Again, the bolts do not stay tight under regular use, just be ready to tighten...

I can even throw multiple clays with it. Two days after getting this, 10 guys gathered for a shoot, and what a time we had. This is just as advertized. The Do-All website as well as just about all online, leaves a lot to be desired with a description of full cock/half cock if you don' know what you are looking for(like me) but it is exactly what I needed with no regrets.

The settings are easy to adjust if you don't mind playing with it at first. Once we had it set it was easy to keep the clays on target for the kids. Again, the bolts do not stay tight under regular use, just be ready to tighten them every five or so throws, but be careful not to over tighten them and stip out the nuts.

3.0 out of 5 stars Definitely does the job, but could easily be better, September 3, 2011

First, I'm extremely pleased with the purchase, especially because I received 30% off at Academy. I've thrown about 300 clays from the launcher, which is extremely easy to use, and it's working great. In fact, the steel frame and the launcher itself seem like they will give me years of service. But the seat, handle grip, and pull cord are already coming apart. In fact the pull cord broke within 20 minutes. One connection to the seat back gave way after a day, and the launcher's plastic sleeve on the handle started to tear off on the third day of use. None of these problems affect the function of the product, but it's a shame the manufacturer didn't make more reliable choices. I've already replaced the cheap pull with a nylon cord. In time, the cheap plastic seat will be removed by me and replaced with a wooden stool seat. And the rubber sleeve for the handle will either never be replaced, or I'll just leave it off and wrap the handle in tape that'll make it easy to grip and will keep the metal surface beneath relatively cool. So kudos to Do-All outdoors for getting the core features right. Now apply that same commitment to all the details.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good product, January 18, 2012

The package arrived promptly and in good condition. Fortunatly everything was in the package however there was one error in packing in that two small nuts which were to hold the day-glo orange safety circle support arms in place were the wrong size...too small for the drilled and tapped hole they were to fit in. Luckily I have a supply of nuts and bolts and was able to find two which were suitable.

Assembly was not difficult, but the chinese-written instructions leave a lot to be desired. For someone with little mechanical ability it could have been challenging. Once assembled the thrower works as advertised although there is no information on how to make adjustments to set/alter the trajectory of the clay pigeons...had to do this through trial and error. Also found that you cannot adjust tension on the spring unless you have a 9/16 OPEN END wrench. A box end wrench will NOT work due to no clearance between the adjusting nut and the handle of the thrower. The included wrench will NOT work for this adjustment.

On my first use we threw about 200 birds with no trouble, except that the thing will NOT throw 3 birds at once, 2 is max. If you try 3 it just breaks the birds as they leave the thrower.

3.0 out of 5 stars breaks a lot of clays, December 18, 2011

I've looked for a way to contact the seller, but haven't found it on the site. The thrower was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough, but it breaks a lot of clays. I don't know if there's something wrong with it or something I'm doing wrong.
