5.0 out of 5 stars Exposing Liberal Hypocrisy
This book gives countless examples of liberals who do not practice what they preach. All sorts of people on the left are included, such as politicians like Nancy Pelosi, radical professors like Noam Chomsky, and entertainers like Michael Moore. The claims in this book are all fact-based, and cannot by dismissed by any liberal who will stand by their principals. For...

3.0 out of 5 stars Book to read.
I loved this book the first time I read it. I even gave it five stars. I've reconsidered due to recent events since President Obama was elected, not because some of the information is misleading or incorrect, it's just missing the whole truth and nothing but the truth about party-politics in general; having to hate one side just enough to like the other enough to vote,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Exposing Liberal Hypocrisy, November 2, 2005
This book gives countless examples of liberals who do not practice what they preach. All sorts of people on the left are included, such as politicians like Nancy Pelosi, radical professors like Noam Chomsky, and entertainers like Michael Moore. The claims in this book are all fact-based, and cannot by dismissed by any liberal who will stand by their principals. For instance, the fact that Michael Moore owns Halliburton stock shows that he is profitting from the war in the same way as liberals accuse the Bush admistration of doing.

Of course conservatives are hypocritical too. However, this isn't supposed to be a non-partisan book; it's blatantly partisan, and I love every page of it. Definitely read it if you want to know the truth about these supposed compassionate liberals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great investigative research! Eye-Opening!!!!!!!!!, November 4, 2005
I picked this book up expecting it to be rather cheesy and mediocre but it truly is an astonishing and detailed record of hypocrisy in America today. From Michael "I don't own a single share of any stock" Moore's collection of Halliburton shares to Nancy "I love the unions" Pelosi's non-union winery, this is a collection replete of head-shaking and shocking revelations that definitely show the concept of "do as I say and not as I do" to be alive and well, particularly on the Liberal left of this nation! A must read for any news or political junkie!

5.0 out of 5 stars I thought this was for book reviews, November 4, 2005

If you read the pinheads below, you will see such gems as "Even Jesus was a hypocrite" and "Oh also, letting government secrets out is a federal felony crime. Tell that to "scooter" Libby and Karl Rove." What that has to do with this excellent book is...NOTHING! If you ask Steve Phelps to come up with an example of his rant, you will hear the same lame polemic that has been disproven and refuted over and over again. And as for SystemStructure, I would like to clarify that Libby was charged with obstruction of justice, not letting out state secrets. And Rove probably won't be charged with anything. Now if you want to talk about state secrets, look at Sen. Robert Torricelli, D-N.J, and John Kerry, BOTH of whom revealed CIA agents' identities and got away with it. THAT is a great example of what this book is all about - LIBERAL HYPOCRISY.

5.0 out of 5 stars What A Laugh!, November 1, 2005
I generally find most politicians to be frauds but I find it laughable the way liberals rationalize and justify the behavior of those they admire. I agree with the gentlemen who critized Hillary Clinton but for different reasons. It seems to me that the only people worth listening to are those of independent thought. I find liberals amusing because of their mind control/group think mentality. Michael Moore has been proven to be a fraud time and again yet he is constantly revered by the left! There is nothing wrong with honest debate and disagreement but liberals have yet to come up with better ideas other than taxing people until they bleed! This president has done well despite the most challenging times since WW II. Most of you would be supportive of this war if Bill Clinton were president. News flash -- you are no longer middle class if you are a family of four with a household income of $60,000. Face it, these liberals today are not FDR, Truman and Kennedy.

5.0 out of 5 stars A HUMOROUS SKEWERING OF THE LEFT, November 3, 2005
I'll say it...conservatives can be hypocrites but at least they will admit it. I think that's the one thing that separates the left from the right sometimes. The left's smugness would never allow them to admit such a frailty and that is just what author Peter Schweizer hits on in this wildly entertaining and humorous book. Schwizer goes after the usual list of offenders including the Clintons, Al Franken, and Michael Moore. Moore is particularly grating as his lavish lifestyle is in direct contrast to his grandstanding champion of the common man title he's bestowed upon himself. Also noted is that Moore's own charitable foundation just happens to own a good deal of Halliburton stock! Horrors, Michael! For shame!

But all this isn't just one man's opinion. Schweizer has done his homework, gathering financial records, court documents, news reports, etc, he has come into this book with a lot of ammo. Moore isn't the only liberal investing privately in corporations they publicly whip. You'll read several accounts of rich liberals doing whatever it takes to avoid paying their own taxes while fueling the corporate engines with their investment dollars. And then there's ultra-liberal wacko Noam Chomsky who Schweizer reveals has made millions working for the government.

Oh and what about Hillary who thinks that girls as young as thirteen should be able to get abortions without their parent's consent even while her own daughter Chelsea was forbidden to get her ears pierced. And on it goes...Teddy Kennedy, Ralph Nader, Barbara Streisand...they all are revealed for the hypocrites that they are. Hey, nothing wrong with that...but at least admit it!

Fantastic!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Truth Hurts, November 2, 2005
Peter Schweizer comes through again with his expose of left-wing icons Michael Moore, Al Franken, Barbara Streisand, and others. Judging from the hostile reaction that this book has gotten from some of the above reviewers, I'd say Schweizer has hit a bullseye with this one, which will no doubt become one of the most talked-about books of the year. Diehard liberals (and they know who they are) will be hard-pressed to explain Moore's ownership of Haliburton stock. Get as many copies as you can for your conservative friends, for liberals, just read passages and watch for their various reactions of disbelief, denial, and outrage at seeing their icons outed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nothing New, November 2, 2005
I found this book hillary-ious, lots of fun! Not a book for devout liberals, but surely one for Republicans. The book's story is nothing new though, and so nobody should be surprised by its "revelations". Socialist liberals have always been this way, always asking their citizens to make sacrifices for the collective good, while exempting themselves and living high on the hog (Kerry, Soros, Edwards, Pelosi, Moore, Kennedy, Clintons, to name a few).
In the view of socialist liberals, fame, fortune and privilege are things that should be made exclusive only to people of a certain elite class, a royalty, and not be open to normal folks who work hard and have ideas (i.e. greedy capitalist exploiters). Only elite socialist liberals should be allowed to fly in first class, be chauffered in limousines, have heated swimming pools, drive big cars, fly in private jets, live in huge mansions, sit in the VIP seats, attend balls, etc. And the other folks? Well, they should be relegated to the collective plantation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Do Get " Do As I say " It's a great read!, November 1, 2005

As I read this book I cant help but agree that Liberalism and those who practice it are in fact dangerous to those of us who prefer to see things as they are not as they appear to be...It is no surprise that the Kennedy's have been very careful not to pay any meaningful taxes as they pass all that wealth along! It is also interesting to note that liberialism as is the case with any Marxist beliefs are in fact designed to control the masses....It has always been that way...those at the top of the liberial power structure talk the talk but generally fail to walk the walk! The entire system is designed for control.....control of funds ....control of people ...control of thought!I think Peter's book pretty much spells out all you need to know about the state of the " Left " in this country....that they dont even listen to there own baloney....they would of course never rely on government health care for themselves! It though is fine for you and me ...the only ideas put forth by the left wing in this country are new ways for them to use taxpayer monies to buy democratic votes!
Check out Al Franken having over 100 people working for him in the last several years and just one minority in the bunch! I guess Al couldn't find any good minority candidates?

5.0 out of 5 stars Libs Can't Stand to Hear the Facts!, November 4, 2005
Just as Clinton challenged the definition of "is," Liberals hear facts and think they are just opinions. To them everything is subjective. Can't help thinking their brains are not wired quite right. Perhaps that's why they ignore reality and use the oldest selling technique in the book -- tug on those emotions when preaching to the masses in order to gain power over them. Libs are masters at it. Thank god I'm not one of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Anti-Spin Sends Liberals Running!, November 4, 2005
This book covers A LOT of what the liberal media doesn't want you to know. It's absolutially mind blowing, and *FACTUALLY COMPLETE* (unlike the tripe that the old media tries to rattle out of their old box of spin tricks).

This is one book I'm passing around, and encouraging everyone I know to buy!

It's quite hilarious to see how all the liberals are taking the release and popularity of this book. It has them running scared because their big secrets are out!

Read it for yourself, and you'll see what I mean.
