Editorial Reviews

Review

Hyrum W. Smith Chairman of the Board and Founder, Franklin Quest Productivity and inner peace increase when people accomplish what matters most to them. I recommend To Do...Doing...Done! as a reliable road map for choosing and completing the activities and projects that are indeed in harmony with their highest priorities.

Linda Griffin Training Specialist, CompuServe Incorporated I've been using and teaching the four-step process described in this book since Lynne taught it to me in 1992. I am still amazed that such a simple process works on every project to which we apply it. The clear explanations and examples used throughout To Do...Doing...Done! bring incredible clarity to the task of managing projects. Kudos to Joyce and Lynne on a great book!

Few books have ever done so much for me. This book has helped me organize so much of my life, it's not even funny.

The best part of it, is it's not about making lists and filing papers, it's about what's important to you and really helping you prioritize what really matters in your life.

You'll be amazed at how easy it really is to be focused all the time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Time-Management Tips to Organize Your Life, November 9, 2000

This review is from: To Do Doing Done: A Creative Approach to Managing Projects & Effectively Finishing What Matters Most (Paperback)
I've read a number of time management books. This was one of the best.

This book forces you to think about the *why* behind the things you each day (at home, at work, and for fun). It teaches readers to avoid doing "what's on top of the pile" and instead think more in terms of overall life strategy. (e.g. "For what reason am I doing this?")

Granted, the "mind mapping" and endless diagrams can get a little tedious. However, they are necessary for the author to illustrate her points.

Much of the listing techniques apply directly to the Franklin Covey Planner organization system. Therefore, if you have the Franklin Covey Planner, this book will be incredibly easy to follow.

4.0 out of 5 stars Life-Awakening, yet common-sense stuff., March 8, 1999

It not only teaches time management, and how to effectively use a Day Planner, it teaches how to understand values in your life, and how to utilize those values to create goals and inner peace with yourself. If you're trying to become more organized, and need a little harmony and peace with what you want out of life, this is a terrific book,
