Book Description

Pocket Treasures October 1, 2006
All the wonders of Christmas entice us to believe in its magical spell. Who can help but believe in the generous spirit of Santa Claus, the good-hearted work of busy elves, the marvel of flying reindeer, and the fancies of sugarplum fairies? With signature Mary Engelbreit art, Do You Believe? reminds us of what is truly important at Christmas. If we can believe in all its wonders, surely we can believe in peace on earth and goodwill toward all its people and know deep down that the true meaning of the holidays is found in our hearts, not under the tree. This Pocket Treasure features flocking on the front pocket and beads and embossing on the Santa Claus ornament.

4.0 out of 5 stars A REMINDER OF THE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE, November 6, 2009
This review is from: Do You Believe?: A Pocket Treasure Book for Christmas (Pocket Treasures) (Hardcover)
This is a dear little book that is a perfect gift (even has its own To/From tag attached) plus a special present inside the front cover pocket. Of course, it comes in Mary Engelbreit's traditional holiday colors of red, green and white sparked with yellow, so no wrapping is required.

Each of the beautifully decorated pages holds a question, such as do you believe in "Carols on Christmas Eve?" or "That heaven and nature sing?' The questions are followed by if you believe in one of these things then you can believe in issues pertaining to the greater good - peace on our planet, comfort and joy.

We like to have several of these small books on hand to give during the holiday season, appropriate reminders of what is important in life.
