This review is from: Do You Know Your Bible? (Paperback)
This book is so unique in that it opens from the top. Its size makes it convenient to put into one's pocket or glove compartment. It does not push doctrine in any way, shape, or form. It entertains and is fun for all ages and backgrounds! It's the perfect travel companion on trips for play-alongs.
Most "trivia" books are too big with too much content, as I think trivia enthusiasts get bored quickly if too much is thrown at them via questions. To me, thick, bulky, trivia books are a definite turnoff. "Do You Know Your Bible? A Fun Quiz on the Good Book" is just that ... a very fun quiz with multiple choice answers. At least I can take an educated guess with the correct answer posed in front of me. Its 125 multiple-choice questions are quick-hitting, never boring. Both the novice and the expert can learn Bible tidbits from Casey's book. In fact, I love all the the trivia of Wilson Casey, as I read his syndicated columns, play his website, and respect his expertness of carrying "Trivia" Guinness World Records. I'm also getting his 2008 Bible Trivia Calendar packed with 365 Biblical brainsteasrs, and can't wait if there's a Volumne II of his "Do You Know Your Bible?", as the first one leaves you wanting more!

This review is from: Do You Know Your Bible? (Paperback)
It is always good to test one's knowledge of scripture. I found this to be an entertaining read... although I found that many of the questions posed in the book had already appeared at some time in one of our local newspapers... so, the challenge was diminished for me. (okay okay so I did have some wrong answers nevertheless)
You have to imagine this: if you entered a classroom for the first time on the first day of school... and... you saw written on the blackboard these words:
"Read entire book. Test tomorrow".
This puts this book in perspective. I only wish there were more books like this.
There could be a test tomorrow.
