From the Inside Flap

Entertaining, captivating, clarifying ...
Until now the idea thought creates reality has been given little attention outside of the so-called "new thought" movement, dismissed as wishful thinking and having little to do with concrete reality. Sages and spiritual masters have taught, as you think, so you become. But it is only now that the real scientific evidence for this has emerged.
The implications of this growing awareness help to form the foundation of the QuantumThink message. Though science may infer, the undeniable real evidence is your own experience. Do You QuantumThink? offers -- not another "how-to" book -- but an actual methodology that reveals its message to you, by the validity of your own experience.

More About the Author

Dianne Collins is an original thinker, media personality, and one of the foremost thought-leaders of our time. She is a master of translating ancient knowledge into "quantum" modern wisdom that provides a transformative platform for the way we conduct our business and personal affairs. Dianne is the creator and author of QuantumThink, a new system of thinking that has us leap from the outdated "old world view" limits of the Industrial Age to begin thinking from the more accurate and up-to-date "new world view" of our current Quantum Age. Along with her husband and business partner, she consults visionary leaders and executives in the world's leading corporations including Accenture, AT&T, CNN and Dupont as well as presenting QuantumThink to entrepreneurs and students, homemakers and professionals, celebrities and evolutionaries worldwide.

Dianne Collins in her own words...
"I grew up in a small town on the New Jersey shore very near the big city of New York, so I got to experience a wide diversity of cultures from rural and suburban to the sophisticated Big Apple. I later moved to south Florida to study Philosophy at the University of Miami. I advanced through several years working in corporate management and later transitioned to the arts, becoming an award-winning photographic artist. All my life I wondered how we could have the world function in the harmonious, noble picture that all people seemed to aspire to yet was blatantly missing in politics, in corporate cultures, in the media, and within our own families.

"It occurred to me even as a teenager that it would take a literal quantum leap in consciousness, an awakening of the way we think and view the world and each other. This quest led me to create QuantumThink(R) -- a new system of thinking, 21 distinct principles based in discoveries at the edge of science merged with universal ageless knowledge, and lived as modern, practical wisdom.

"My intent in writing the book, Do You QuantumThink? New Thinking That Will Rock Your World was to write in an entertaining and engaging, personal from-me-to-you style so you enjoy reading it - while at the same time, you are awakening your own awareness and expanding your thinking, as you read. Part I Wake Up discusses the Situation humanity finds ourselves in today, and delves into the questions, what do we really want? and what is our means to creating it? Part II Live the Wisdom presents the QuantumThink principles I call 'distinctions.' So I am not saying, hey we really should think in a new way, people -- I am saying, let's take a good look ... here is why we need to think in a new way -- and guess what, here is how we can. Here is the system.

"The idea is that we can put it all together -- see the big picture of how our habits of mind affect our outcomes and experience of life in real ways -- and that we can easily and joyfully condition our thinking to be in sync with the way things actually work according to nature. The result is you not only learn 'everything you ever wanted to know about science and spirituality and didn't know to ask' :) -- you will likely experience a new command and confidence in your own mastery in living, you'll view what's going in the world now in an optimistic and transformative light, and you will feel really good about all that. This is what readers tell me. I would love to read your own "reader review" on the site after you read the book, too. And may quantum leaps abound!"

Dianne Collins has written what should become a required High School and University textbook. From my career experience in business I believe the most important skill a young person can bring to an employer is his/her ability to think. Having interviewed over a thousand graduates, most with excellent academic rankings from some of the finest universities, I can tell you that the preponderance of these young people had difficulty thinking their way through an interview. And many of those who were hired struggled to problem solve because they were lacking the critical analytical thinking skills that Ms. Collins crystalizes in her marvelous DO YOU QUANTUMTHINK?

In fact, had this book been written sooner it would have been required reading for every executive under my employ. There is no doubt that my job in senior management would have been much easier if all of my people would have had the benefit of absorbing the principles from QuantumThink. By the way, the book is fun to read.

Dianne Collins is a master at explaining the fundamental ways we can manage and create our lives--with powerful choices. I love her description of our "Observer created Reality"--simply put, that our reality is shaped by how we "observe" our own environment. We explain or shape our reality by how we observe it.

This is just one of the "distinctions" that Ms. Collins describes in her creation of a new way of thinking. Reading this book is intriguing, valuable, and just plain fun. Collins' writing is conversational and entertaining--she uses amusing anecdotes to illustrate her primary concepts and gives the reader very practical "recreations" or exercises the reader can do easily to master the quantum system of thinking. Collins gives us tools so we can access our power to create the things we want in our life in such a way that our life works.

I have read many metaphysical and self-awareness books--most are positive philosophies that are valuable to remember. The difference with Collins' book is that instead of reading and remembering, she gives us a system to practice the concepts and internalize them into our own system of experience...instead of remembering we are actually living the QuantumThink system. Ms. Collins' book is unique in that it takes us to the next place--a quantum leap if you will--to a new way of grounding ourselves in a way of thinking that literally alters our world and enhances our way of being. Very cool.

Collins says that when we begin living in an Observer created Reality, the magic begins. I say, bring it on! Kudos to Dianne Collins for giving us this gem--this way of knowing ourselves and our world in a bold and enticing way--from a powerful and unique perspective. I recommend you read this book and create your life with a quantum leap in the direction you want to take it.

Let me begin by saying this is a fantastic book, and one that I would recommend everyone have in their personal library! I call it a "Book of Liberation" because this 2011, 382 page book has the potential to free you from limiting beliefs that many folks are holding on to. I will also tell you right off--this is NOT a book to zip through. It is more like a college course, one you should be anxious to attend. This is a book to read slowly, in sections, so you can truly absorb what you are reading and put it into practice. Write in the margins, underline, and highlight - all that good stuff. Treat it like a text book that you do not intend to sell back at the end of the semester. When you finish, put it on the shelf for a little while, then go back and read it again. We are talking about positive, life-changing stuff here!

The book is highly detailed and is part science, part philosophy, and part spirituality. Dianne Collins often provides info on related scientific studies. Some of the concepts explained are how we are conditioned to think/act/believe in certain patterns, so much so that much of it is unconscious. The realization of that conditioning is an eye-opener in itself and it REALLY affects the choices we make in life. (Heck, look at how television conditions us to buy certain things so we can look a certain way.--and that's only the tip.) Dianne also covers how and why we see what we expect to see, how we are all connected, the "observer affect", and so many other concepts. I think many of you will say, "Geeze, I never realized . . . or I never thought of that. . .or I knew that, but forgot about it."

Dianne mentions that "you cannot be on a spiritual path at your convenience". Once you commit, you will likely work at it all the time.

This book is over 350 pages long and relatively dense print so no one could complain that the author is being stingy with passing on her knowledge.

However I think that the sheer size of the book has made it far less useful than the five star reviews indicate.

- The central point of the book, which I think is that we are living in a Transdimensional universe is lost

- the structure of the book doesn't really support this, and it just goes on and on

- There is far to much repetition of concepts in the individual chapters. For example the heart math stuff comes up at least twice.

The overwhelming balance of the book is on theory, and what people have said rather than what actions you should take. The exercise sections are really small and not very well developed.

There aren't any examples of how applying the principles have affected the authors life or anybody elses - for example in the footnotes it says that she is on the board of a chamber orchestra and they apply these principles, but what does that mean.

I would recommend Amy Lansky's Active Consciousness and Kenneth MacLean The Vibrational Universe as shorter more comprehensible coverage of the field
