This book took four years to develop. After writting down identification methods used in the lab and in the field these methods were refined into laymen terms for everyone to understand. Identification methods were tested by readers of the book. Set up jewelry boxes were given to the test readers to sort and identify all the jewelry contained in the boxes. Test readers without fail properly id'd all the jewelry.

This book has been wrote by a Master Jeweler. Roy Jordan has passed and completed training with schools and educational facitilites such as The Gemology Institute of America, Jewelers Institute of America.

Author, Publisher, currently owns and operated a full service Jewelry Store.
