FIRST NOTE: If you're looking for a great anal lube, get a product of the same name ("Anal Lube"), just by a different company, called "California Exotic Novelties", also (possibly more commonly, at least on Amazon) known as "Cal Exotics" or possibly "California Exotics". Search Amazon for "anal lube exotic". Amazon even sometimes has an amazing deal on a 2-pack of the Original (recommended) which qualifies for super saver shipping, which would make it cheaper than buying one even tube from a merchant with shipping. I'm going to place a review there. These two products are easily confused, and couldn't be more different, including the fact that the Cal Exotic brand is water-based--and somehow works better too (rare that you find that).

Boy, do I regret this purchase. I have no idea how I managed to 'not' actually search the internet to find the ingredients before purchasing. I also assumed somehow that this product is water-based and therefore laxed condom safe, which it is NOT.

Looking at the container, the product has only 3 ingredients:
Petrolatum, Octyldodecanol, Nonoxonyl-15.

Petrolatum is 'petroleum jelly'. That's the first ingredient, and if you didn't know there were 2 other ingredients in it just looking and feeling the stuff between your fingers, you'd just assume it were straight petroleum jelly--but not the high quality thick, brand-name Vaseline p.j., but like the cheap, thinner, white generic kind you get as drugstore house brands. This is obviously a petroleum product. I wouldn't put this in me, so I won't put it in my partner.

Octyldodecanol. I know a lot about ingredients, and I had never heard of that one. Web searching yields little. Apparently it is either an alcohol, or derived from alcohol.
