My boyfriend bought this toy for me at Christmas. I had a rabbit from a different company and never really liked it. The ears would bother me when using it or I just got aggravated that it didn't quite reach the right spot and he had decided it was time for me to try something new. AND I am SO glad we did!

We now lovingly refer to this toy as The Hare. Without the additional "ears" on the clit stimulator it feels so much better and I don't have to worry about irritation after playtime. The vibe is so pleasurable and quiet enough I can use it in a thin-walled house without everyone knowing what I'm doing before bedtime. I'd say it makes about the same amount of noise as one of those handheld battery operated fans when on its highest setting.

The length is amazing and hits my g spot each and every time so I'm a very very happy girl. My boyfriend loves to use this toy before we have sex in order to bring me almost to the edge and back several times before he finishes it off himself.

I highly recommend this product and for the price you can afford to replace it every six months if necessary. Mine's going strong but it's only a few months old. And I think this vibe would suit you if you were a beginner when it comes to toys. The girth is average and fills you well without the feeling of being overly full or painful.

This is the best vibrator I've owned (so far). However, this is also the second one of these I've owned. I kept the first one in the shower so I thought that maybe it stopped working after 3 months because it wasn't quite "waterproof". So I bought another one and kept it out of the shower. No such luck--it STILL died after about 3 months as well!! So I will say that this is one heck of a vibrator, but you'll probably be replacing it not too long after you buy it! I'm definitely disappointed about that!

Never ever did I think I would admit to anyone but my best friends that I even owned anything like this.
I love the fact I can get affordable toys in the mail from Amazon and that they are packed very discretely. I could open the box in front of my kids if I needed to... they would never guess what was inside the white wrappings.

This vibrator is really lovely and is quickly becoming my favorite out of all my toys.
I love the fact there are no ears or nubs on this one, it is easier to maneuver around without irritation.
It is a really nice size that gets all my spots just right. It is not too big or cumbersome and seems very quiet. No noisy beads to make a racket and wake the whole house.
The rotation is not a strong as I usually like, but that is ok.

Once you get used to the feel and position of the buttons it is easy to control, but I sure would like to see them put a little extra bump on both the + buttons just so it is easier to know what button you are hitting when you are changing speeds.

I have used it several times in the shower and can confirm it is indeed waterproof. I don't know if I would take it into the tub or spa, but it does very well in small amounts of water (so far). I have even taken it with me to the gym for my after workout shower and it is quiet enough that my friend in the next stall had no idea what I was doing.

It's true that this thing DOES stink, but who really cares if it gets the job done???
After this one breaks I will buy another..... and another.......

UPDATE... February 2012 - I still have this in my gym bag and use it weekly. It is still totally waterproof and still shows no sign of ever breaking down.

I agree with the other reviewers who said that this just smells weird - very chemical-like - but you can get over that quickly. I've only used this a few times but it works like a charm. The vibrator function is SO quiet, which is a big help. One drawback is that the rotation part isn't working very well after only a few uses - when I turn it on it doesn't move but you can hear the poor little motor sounding like it's TRYING to move. But I grabbed it and gave it a spin myself and it worked just fine.

The presentation was very nice, and the product is exactly the same as it is depicted in the photo. other than the smell of plastic/rubber, i have almost no issues. its just too big for me, but im very inexperienced. i suppose with time it will be a more enjoyable toy.

this is definately not meant for the beginner!

This is probably my new favorite toy! I also have a (well two) Butterfly Kiss which, I still love, but it a little smaller than this one (About 4 inches). The Squirmy is a descent size, about 6 inches long (Not including the battery compartment/handle area) and 1 inch thick; great for a beginner as it's a little less intimidating. The vibration isn't that loud sounding at all, even on the highest setting, a closed door, a blanket or even if there is a t.v. on low somewhere in the house is enough to muffle the sound. And boy is is powerful! WOW!
The rotation, however, while it can be changed from clockwise to counter-clockwise, is a bit loud sounding. You know those electric pencil sharpeners; The weird loud, "Whirr" sound they make, especialy when sharpening a new pencil? That's kind of what the rotation sounds like, and it only gets louder the higher you set it. Personally, I don't really care to much for the rotation, so low works just fine for me (as it's fun on the way in), or sometimes I just leave it off.
The shaft is pretty flexible and soft, but firm. Definitely use plenty of lubricant as it is that shinier, jelly type plastic that does tend to rub a little bit otherwise.

ANOTHER IDEA: Turn the Squirmy upside down and just use the bunny, that creates a whole other sensation. ; )

Be warned is does have a bit of a weird odor when you first open it (so that's why the 4 stars, otherwise it would have received a perfect 5), but a nice soap and water scrub down and let it air dry on an open widow sill takes care of that problem. Also the batteries are a little weird to put in, so make certain that you get under a light and look for those little +/- signs so you can get those batteries in there correctly other wise, no dice and no eyes rolling back into your head/fantastic body spasms. Whoo! Be a shame to miss that.

UPDATE 12-16-11: I recieved a rather stange email today with a comment on this review that went like this (Word for word, no editing except for the name-as I am not in the habit of embarassing people so I left it blank): "I can't belkieve you actually left a comment, advertising that you bought a fake dick!!! Get a life... and a boyfriend!!"

First of all it's not a fake dick, it's a vibrator. They do sell fake dicks on this site, and they actualy look like them too, complete with scrotum sac.
Secondly, if items such as these offend you (either the person who sent me this comment or anyone who feels that these types of toys are Taboo), then why are you looking at these items and why are you commenting on my review of an item that I, A.) Don't find Taboo and B.) Enjoy to a healthy extent?
And Third, anyone who is not afraid of items such as these and enjoy having them as part of their bedroom scene, knows very well that items such as these can be used alone, for a quick pick me up or they are also enjoyed by many couples as an intricate part of their personal, private life.

So to the person who sent me the above comment. Yes, I bought a vibrator. Yes, I reviewed my vibrator, quite favorably I might add. I have a very healthy personal life; and NO, I AM NOT ASHAMED OF MY VIBRATOR OR THE FACT THAT I OWN FIVE OF THEM~ Each one has a different advantage and each one brings another form of fun. And I'm certain I'll be looking for the newest, lastest, and greatest on the market, and review those too~

This vibrator is absolutely INCREDIBLE and hits the spot for me without fail. The soft rounded "rabbit" part of it is completely tantalizing. I love how the other part of it isn't shaped like a penis, but is instead a pretty spiral shape. There are two settings, one that controls the strength of the vibrations and another that makes the main part of it rotate. Even the lowest setting feels amazing. Also, it's pretty quiet, more than other vibrators I've tried. This definitely is the best vibrator I've used and gets my recommendation 100%.

dont waste your money on this poor quality vibrator. it just stops working in days. it took me 2 purchases to realize im not the one with problem.

This is a pretty good vibe, well worth its weight in gold. I need pretty slim vibes, and this one has a really good circumference (not as slim as a normal slim vibe, but not as thick as a typical one). The vibration and rotation sttings are wonderful, I love that they can work individualy or together. One of the best things about it its that its very quiet! I have roommates but I'm sure no one can hear the vibe in my house, especially if I keep music or the tv on. I like this line of vibes and they all seem to have that quality.

My one problem with it is that the shaft is too long vs. the clitoral stimulator. I can't get the stimulator anywhere near my clitoris. But I have a relitively shallow vagina, so this probably isn't the case for anyone. But I have to use another vibe in addition, so it is a pointless feature for me.

And on the smell...I've never really noticed it. Once when I was in the tub, but it wasn't so stron that it bothered me.

Well, this is the second doc johnson product I've ordered. I renjoyed the first one, so I figured this one would be great however when it came it DIDN'T WORK at all. Right out of the box I put in the batteries and nothing happened... it was pretty easy to tell which batteries went where... I thought maybe the batteries were bad so I got new ones and tried those.. still nothing. I shook the product gently... tried holding it at different angles, pressing the buttons lightly.. holding the buttons.. turning the dial/cap.. and it was as dead as it could be. So.. I'm sunk. I can't return the product and didn't even get to use it a single time because it was dead from the start. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
