They're back!,
By D. Smithee "Universal Daddy" (Washington, DC USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Doc and Raider: Incredibly Lifelike (Paperback)
I was delighted to discover this second volume of Doc and Raider. Everyone's favorite leather couple still loves to bicker, fight, shop, max out the credit cards and worry about their wardrobe. Crises build in this volume. In addition to Doc's HIV infection, their relationship goes through a true trial and Doc and Raider have their first true fist fight. Raider also gets gay bashed. Your heart can't help but go out to him as he lies in a back alley curled up in a fetal position crying for Doc. Lastly, the tome ends with a marvelous novella called "The Steps". We finally get a look this wonderful couple's friends and see how they deal with sex, meeting people, relationships and all the other fun things in life.

More smiles from Canada's famous gay couple!,

This review is from: Doc and Raider: Incredibly Lifelike (Paperback)
Again, Sean shows how the everyday life of a gay couple
is filled with its ups and downs and humour. Sean takes us
through a wide range of situations including the infamous
'gay bashing' series as well as dealing with issues such
as AIDS. At the end of this book, Sean gives us a little
narrated story about 'The Steps' in front of the Second
Cup at Church and Wellesley. A recommended purchase for die
hard Doc & Raider fans!
