5.0 out of 5 stars Dockers Metro pants
I have worn Docker's pants for many years as my work day office "uniform" with various shirts, sweaters, and jackets. Dockers just went from labeling these pants "ideal fit" to "mid-rise curvy". 2.0 out of 5 stars Not straight leg by any stretch of the imagination
These are bell bottoms. I ordered two pair and one pair fit and the other, same size, different color are a size too small.
I had a perfectly fitting pair of Dockers that got a stain on them and I was really hoping that these would work as replacements, but it looks like both pair will be returned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dockers Metro pants, June 20, 2009
I have worn Docker's pants for many years as my work day office "uniform" with various shirts, sweaters, and jackets. Dockers just went from labeling these pants "ideal fit" to "mid-rise curvy". For a woman with an average American figure, these pants fit great and are comfortable to sit and walk in. They look great with shoes with either a short or moderate heel. They sit just slightly below the waist. The newer version of this pant has just a hint of stretch to the waistband that closes with two flat hook closures and a button. The pants look great with tops tucked in or left out. They are easy care - wash and wear - although I prefer to iron mine for work. A peculiar thing I found upon ordering these pants from three different vendors was that Dockers has two types of inside labels that say "mid rise curvy" in these pants. The labels in lowercase type were more true to size; the labels in uppercase type were cut just a wee bit tighter through the seat. These pants are worth the money, look great, and make work days or casual days easy and comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great black pants!!, November 4, 2006
Do not fade quickly. Sit lower on waist so they are more figure flattering. Straight legs so you don't look like a turkey drumstick!! All around great pants (especially if you need them for a uniform).

These pants are the BEST. They are well constructed and fit perfectly. I intend to buy another pair. I am very comfortable wearing them and love the metro style and straight legs. They wash nicely and need NO ironing to look nice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Everyday Pant, August 19, 2009
This review is from: Dockers Women's Metro Pant (Apparel)
I have long legs, curvy hips, and a short & small waist. When I go shopping, I could easily stuff pillows in most pants and still have room, the waistlines hit at my bust, while the inseams are nearly capris and the rapidly-tapered thigh widths makes me wonder if I'm the only woman in the world who does squats.

Clothing above size 8 is frequently cut for petite, small-framed women with Plus-type proportions, rather than women with larger frames and curves. WTF is up with that?

Not so with the Dockers Metro pant. The waist is still a little large and the rise a little too high, but they're truly cut for curvy women.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pants, July 24, 2009
This review is from: Dockers Women's Metro Pant (Apparel)
These pants are very flattering for the tall and slightly curvy figure. I am not super curvy, only a little, and some 'curvy' styles are too floppy in the hips - but these are nice.

They fit me better and look nicer than much more expensive pants hanging in my closet. I admit I am a bit of a clothes snob and I really don't like the idea of wearing Dockers, but there is no visible logo or label so yea - none has to know but me.

I have three pairs now, black, gray, and khaki. My favorite are the gray flannel which look a little more dressy. The black one pick up a lot of lint which bugs me. The company Beals of Florida was fantastic. The pants came quickly and were nicely wrapped.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent fit, July 13, 2010
This review is from: Dockers Women's Metro Pant (Apparel)
I love the metro pant. At least, I think I do. I have owned and tried on several pairs. I am a size 14 Regular. I own khaki, black, and denim. I find the mid-rise curvy and the ideal fit versions fit me differently, although some reviewers claim they are the same pant. I think all the different labeling has created much confusion. If I could grab a pair off the shelf and know the sizing was true, I would own several more pairs....especially if they came in more colors. But with all the uncertainty, I always have to take them to the fitting room.....for that resason, I hesitate in adding more to my closet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for women with curves!, May 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am a size 14/16 and it is difficult to find professional looking work pants that fit my full figure, especially my hips. They don't sit too high or too low on my waist either. I fell very comfortable and confident in these and they last a long time through many washes. These are now the only pants I will buy for work.
