I've never worn sandals before - sad but true. I shopped at many stores and tried on a variety of styles and found Dockers to my liking. Amazon had the best price and a good reputation - so I made my purchase. They arrived in short time, fit perfectly and I love them. Well made, secure on the feet, good cushioning underneath. I highly recommend this simple piece of footwear.

These sandals are awesome, they fit well and are soft to the skin, meaning no blisters. I've done a considerable amount of walking in these and am very pleased with the comfort and fit. I should also mention that the sizing was correct, I ordered size 11 and got size 11, not mismarked 12's or 10's.

This is a pretty good product. They are comfortable to walk in for hours and hours, and they have a very comfortable sole and superb straps. They are better than any other sandals I have worn including the most prominent brands.

I like them.

Re: Dockers Men's Latimer Sandal,Dark Brown,. After a couple of months of use, I like these sandals better than any others I have ever worn. They are better than the much ballyhooed sandals of famous makers (which I also own and now wear rarely). They fit well. I wear them all day, and I've bought a second pair.

My view: They are the best. Also the Amazon price was very attractive, and less than 1/2 the retail price in shoe stores.

Hello,
Bought this a while back, was wearing them for a bit before commenting.
First impressions: quality is good, this isn't a $200 shoe, but it's great for the price.
They are very light, very easy on the foot, it's a good walk.
Very comfortable to be in.
The shoe sole is a bit stiff, not a complaint though, just observation.
My biggest problem is that I like my sandals a certain way and this did only ok at it. I like when my heal doesn't go all the way back in the sandal, that way I can do fast pace walking, but in this my heal does go almost to the end and hits the bump at the end, which makes stuff like running harder ... this doesn't seem to bother most people though, and it's not enough for me not to ware them.
Anywho, if you can get the ones with adjustable back straps, but if you can't, these are fine sandals, especially for the price.

After trying on a pair of sandals from 3 different manufacturers, I've come to the conclusion on this particular pair from Dockers. It is the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever owned. It's like walking on a pillow. I am now a believer in all things "Dockers" :)

My previous pair of Dockers sandals did not have the top overstrap and they were more comfortable than these. But the straps all have a soft lining and there is no noticeable friction on the skin. The soles are super comfy and the rubber is long-lasting (I am 260 lbs and my last pair fell apart before the rubber wore down). Recommended.

Many years ago I took to wearing sandals when appropriate during the summer time. I like sandals because they're cool on my feet, easy to slip on and off, easy to clean and lightweight. I have a "farmers tan" from the open parts of the sandals on my feet all summer, looks kinda funny when I'm not wearing them. I've worn a lot of sandals over the years. The best pair I ever had were made by Nevados, those sandals lasted me at least 5 summers and I've never had a pair before or since that lasted that long. Every time I go shopping for new sandals I look for that brand. They're available on Amazon but not in a type and style that I want so after some fairly broad and serious sandal shopping I settled on this pair.

I'm not disappointed. The sandals are very comfortable once I got them broken in. Or maybe I should say once they got me broken in because I did develop a blister where the front strap comes down my right foot on the inside of the instep. That's no big deal, it's just that strap traverses skin that's never had a strap rubbing on it before and it never really bothered me enough to notice.

The insoles where my foot contacts the sandal are very comfortable. They "breath" well and I don't seem to be experiencing any sweating or chafing on the soles of my feet. The straps are broad and likewise comfortable with the above exception. They're lined with some sort of soft fabric (taffeta? I don't know much about fabrics) and they hold my foot perfectly.

I was a little leery because I didn't notice the heel strap isn't adjustable until after I ordered them. As it turns out the strap sits where it should on my foot and it's not an issue.

The upper part of the sandals are made of real leather which is a huge plus. Leather is the most durable material I've found for this kind of footwear. I chose the Briar sandal and unlike sandals I've had before the leather isn't suede, it's a pebbled smooth finish. I chose this over the Dark Brown sandal because of this finish, the Dark Brown appears to be a matte oil tan but I can't be sure from the pictures. I like the finish on the Briar sandal because it should resist stains from coffee, beer, sodas and anything else I manage to spill on my feet during the course of a summer.

The sandals appear to be very well constructed, there's heavy duty stitching every where there should be and the Velcro fasteners are of a good quality that doesn't seem to attract lint and only sticks to itself. I've never really had a problem with straps letting go, stitching breaking or anything like that, I always buy a good pair of sandals because I wear them so much. Usually a sandal "wears out" by having the sole crack at the ball of my foot where the sandal flexes the most while walking. It's way to early to tell if these will do that or how long they'll last.

They're comfortable and sturdy enough that if they last as long as that old pair of Nevados did I may have found another brand of sandal to look for when it's time for new ones again. Two brands to choose from would be nice and it's more likely I'll find one or the other that I like and are made in the type and style I prefer.

So why didn't I give them 5 stars? They did make a blister on my foot, the heel strap isn't adjustable so I lucked out but others may not be so fortunate, and they're brand new so I can't speak to their durability. That's the only reasons I can think of and if they last they'll get 5 stars from me.

Why doesn't Dockers offer a 10 1/2 size? Size 10 is a little too small and a size 11 would be too big for me.

Seems well made, I have only worn them a short time. The original photo gave the impression that the back strap was adjustable, it isn't. This replaces an old pair from Adidas that had the rear adjustable strap, useful to fine tune the fit length.

great. I thought that the size would be off a little, but they fit fine and fell good. I will try some more.
