This is a great idea that works very well. It works just like it sounds. Insert the end into the clasp and push the locking piece in when you have reached the point you want. Instead of holes, there is a track on the inside part of the belt. Just lock in place wherever you want on the track. You can even do it more like a seatbelt where you snap it in place and then tighten it further by just pulling some more.

One thing to remember though (as with many other belts) is to get a belt that is 2-3 inches larger than your waist size.

I agree with all of the great reviews of this product, but one must consider that the grooves on the back of the belt start a couple of inches in. I'd say it's a personal preference, but I returned my belt which was 2 inches larger than my waist, and am planning on getting the next belt size up.

Never thought that belt technology could be so nifty yet so practical.. I hope they expand their designs in this line of belts.

Purchased this belt about 6 months ago and have been happy with the buckle design until now. The tension spring that engages the belt holder broke, and I'm not finding any replacement parts. Products should last at least a year under normal use.
Would consider twice before purchasing any click-to-fit belts from Dockers.

I might have liked this belt more if I hadn't bought it at the same time that I'd bought a slidebelt. Comparing the two side by side, the difference in quality is really apparent.

The good thing about this belt is that it is simple and functions the way it should. Compared to a regular belt, the concept is great in that you are never in a situation where your size is in between the pre-set holes. Just slide in the belt, and click it until you're comfortable. Push in the center of the buckle to release the latch.

The bad things are:

1. The entire belt is a little too big. It's fine for jeans, but too big for slacks.

2. The materials are a little bit cheap-o. The leather is kind of tough, and the buckle is not great. Not bad, but not great.

3. The locking/unlocking mechanism on this belt seems rather cheap. It's just a thin, flexible strip of metal that you press to "pop" in or out to open or close the locking latch. I feel like I might break it after a while.

4. The entire buckle itself is a fake make to look like a regular belt. It's not bad, but it is a little on the cheap side. Plus, I think I'd be a little bit embarrassed if anyone ever noticed. I think it would be like being "found out" wearing a clip on tie.

So all in all, I'd say that the belt is not bad, but for me, given the price, I'd rather go with the slide belt.

This is a good belt. It has an unusual clasp that slides along and snaps into place. I never have had any trouble with it.

i saw the ad in the side bar, and clicked thinking what the heck. click to fit must be cool. i ended up buying a brown and black to see whats up. very pleasantly surprised and very happy. they are cool and very concenient and can really fit to size. highly recommended.

Wow... I had a big dinner the other night. Rather than standing up to unbuckle my belt, and rebuckle it... I just pushed the center of this buckle and in a snap it clicked open two sizes. Very good. Nice looking, I got this in black, will re-order a brown.

This belt worked as advertised for approximately 4 months. Now the "fastening" mechanism no longer holds the belt in place, so it comes undone easily. Perhaps there is a way to fix or tighten the mechanism, but it is not intuitive, so the belt is now worthless...as a belt. I will go back to the old. reliable 'prong goes in the pre-made hole" design, since four months is not a particularly good "life" for a semi-expensive belt.

Good idea, poor reliability

I love this belt. It is the best belt I've ever owned. I WILL advise anyone buying this belt to add 4 inches to your waist size before ordering. I added only 2 after reading other reviews and found that those extra 2 inches would have been a little more comfy. Still a wonderful belt, and I'm looking forward to just losing two more inches to make more room! Anyway, the belt is perfect for finding that comfortable fit between sitting and walking around. So easy to loosen your belt a few notches when sitting for long periods to increase circulation to the lower body. Just don't forget to cinch it back before you stand up!
