4.0 out of 5 stars Great value, comfort and look
The Dockers slip-ons are very very comfortable. This is the first time I've owned this style but I have been very pleased and the comfort factor is high. I work in a 4-story corporate office that is a half-mile long so I'm on my feet a lot. They are nice enough to wear in any situation (jacket and tie or short sleeve polo).

3.0 out of 5 stars No Quality Shoes...
I was expecting a lot more. The leather is old and showing signs of rot. Either that or it's a bad dye job. The rubber sole is so soft it will last a month if I'm lucky, it's alrealy falling apart. It is hard getting these shoes on and off, the hole is too small. The sizes run larger than normal, but there is so much padding on the heal that they hurt my feet - make me...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great look and feel, December 30, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
At first, I admit the fit felt different than any other business shoes I've warn before, however, you must break these in for at least one day. They are comfortable and fit well. Lot of padding. Slip on and off easily without becoming strectched. I like the look (Business Casual). I also like how they do not look or feel bulky like alot of other shoes (sketchers). Price was reasonable. I would buy them again right after these are worn out. After about 4 weeks they are holding up strong.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shoes for a great price, December 18, 2009

Got these shoes for a great price with great shipping rates. I wear a size 13 and fit in these size 12s well. So the sizing is a little off. Other than that they are great.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Looking and Very Comfortable, August 27, 2009

These Dockers are some of the most comfortable loafers I've had. My previous pair of Timberlands pinched after a few hours for the first few weeks -- these felt like a pair of fitted gloves right out of the box. I like the style of the exposed stitching as well, which give the shoes a slightly more muscular look suitable for jeans as well as dress pants. I've worn them to work for about a year, and they still look great, although the soles are now wearing thin. Four stars.

2.0 out of 5 stars One pair, two sizes???, January 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased the Dockers Men's Barricade Slip On shoe thru Amazon for my son a couple years ago and he absolutley loved them; extremely comfortable, nice looking and they have worn well. He liked them so much he wanted to order another pair. Unfortunatley, the pair he received this time isn't wearable. Although both shoes are labeled the same size, one shoe fits, but the other is so small he can't get it on his foot. I'm in the midst of waiting for a reply regarding my request for an exchange from Shoebuy via Amazon. I hope they have a wearable pair in stock!

3.0 out of 5 stars No Quality Shoes..., November 29, 2011

I was expecting a lot more. The leather is old and showing signs of rot. Either that or it's a bad dye job. The rubber sole is so soft it will last a month if I'm lucky, it's alrealy falling apart. It is hard getting these shoes on and off, the hole is too small. The sizes run larger than normal, but there is so much padding on the heal that they hurt my feet - make me walk funny, no arch support. I hope to atleast break them in enough to get my money's worth out of them. Shoes.com does not really accept returns. Shoes.com is the worst. Had problems with them before and will never buy from them again. JC Penny had same shoes for way less, but Shoes.com wouldn't stand up to their low price guarantee. Same old, same old.

5.0 out of 5 stars best dress shoes ever, October 21, 2011
These are the absolute best dress shoes ever made. I have worn out my second pair and just found out while looking for my third that they have been discontinued. I cannot be more disappointed because finding a comfortable pair of dress shoes is virtually impossible.

5.0 out of 5 stars The amazing 5 year shoe., August 3, 2011

These shoes do not wear, they are extremly pliant and comfortable and they look just fine for both business dress and casual.

I retired my original pair of Dockers slip ons because after wearing them almost every day for 5 years they started to look a 'bit' tired. Last year I bought a new pair on Amazon and the trend of indestructability and comfort continues. When I bought the second pair last year I was worried that they would have changed in some way. Much to my delight they were identical to the old pair I have been wearing.

I have several very fancy and much more expensive shoes that sit in fancy shoeboxes in my closet and remain unworn and unloved. I drag out the fancy Italian shoes when I must go to some formal event but they always hurt a little. They also cost more than my first car so I am always having to be careful not to brush them against anything sharp. The moment I return home, the fancy shoes go back in the fancy shoe box and I put the Dockers on.

I just today ordered a third pair of the same shoe but, no fool I, I ordered them in brown because the black pair I have will not need replacing for another 5 years.

I guess that these are made in China but these are very well made nevertheless. To be honest I cannot say the same for the expensive Italian shoes that seem to exhibit some minor damage to the buttery soft leather every time I slip them on my feet for more than 10 minutes.

5.0 out of 5 stars best looking/comfort shoe combo you will find, May 6, 2011

I have both black and brown and have been buying these for years. It's all I wear to work and they double as a casual look with jeans. Break in quickly and after that - wow, awesome.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Balance Between Style and Comfort, March 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
My husband is by far the pickiest when in comes to work shoes. He needs something that requires no matching, feels like a tennis shoe but looks great with slacks. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. He has worn Dockers shoes ever since his job required business casual because they tend to be the most comfortable. After discontinuing the last model by Dockers he wore, he was left searching for a replacement. He tried out these and Dockers Perspective. These were more comfortable and the color Red Brown will go with every variation of khaki in his closet. The colors in the Dockers Perspective shoe didn't quite look right with dark green khaki pants. Anyhow, he's more than pleased and I intend to stock up on a few pairs of these in order to avoid this whole shoe search business for a while. Perhaps a pair in black when he needs to wear a dress suit. Also, as far durabilty is concerned, these shoes tend to last through nine to ten months of five day a week wear before cracking on the soles across the toe box.
