I wasn't able to get one of the shoes on... I wear a size 13 and the length of the shoe was fine, but the opening was very tight and has absolutely no give. I don't think I have some kind of strange deformity, maybe a slightly higher-than-average arch, but that's it. Once I got the shoe on one foot, there was plenty of room in the toe but the top was very tight. I couldn't get it on my other foot at all. 4 Stars for Style and price. No stars for fit.

Side note, it wasn't really noticeable at a glance, but my pair had a manufacturing defect in the loop on the back - the stitching had been missed on one of the shoes.

The shoes looked fine, but they were impossible to put on. Even my fiancé, who has very slender feet, could not put the right shoe on. There was absolutely no stretch to the opening, even though the design looked like there should be. Very disappointed.

Ordered my regular size, but they seem to be 2 size smaller. The sole size seems to be right but there is not way I can slide my foot into the shoes. I'm returning these today.

The opening is too small and hard to get it on. Every time I have to spend more than 5 mins to wear it. In addition, it is easy to dirt the shoes, which looks ugly.
I bought these on Cyber Monday for a discount. Now I understand those which have discount must have reasons for that. Good things are always hot.

Great shoes. These fit about 1/2 size large; I normally wear a 12 (consistently for the past 25 years), but based on other reviews, I ordered an 11 1/2. The 11 1/2 fits perfectly. These shoes look much nicer in person Han the pics on Amazon. Bought these as part of a lightening deal, and I'm glad I did. Great shoes!

I noticed a recurring theme in the reviews for this shoe...that it's not so easy to put on because the opening is tight and there's no give in the elastic (fyi, it looks like elastic, but it's not). It's totally true. I really like the styling, the quality is OK, and I can deal with the tight fit around the opening. I wouldn't pay regular price, but for $35 it's worth it. The reviews also suggest that this shoe goes on sale (Amazon "Today's Deals") on a regular basis. So, if you're thinking about ordering these shoes, save them to your Wish List and wait until the next sale.

Update (2/6/14): After a week, the tight fit has loosened up a bit. However, I've noticed that the shoe dye rubs off, leaving brown lines on my white socks everyday. OK, maybe I shouldn't be wearing white socks with these shoes...I'm a bit of a nerd...

Update (5/23/2014): I've been wearing these shoes to work almost daily for almost 4 months. The stitching and vinyl panels on the sides of the shoe are starting to crack and come undone. The poor quality of the materials and is really starting to show. I won't be buying these anymore.

No matter how I contort my foot, can't get the shoe on.

The problem with this shoe is no elastic at the sides of the tongue area. All of my other slip on shoes have some elastic to make it easier to slip on the shoe.

Nice shoe, but so small my son couldn't even get it on his foot. And he was just measured a 7 Mens' Shoe.

This is for Dockers mens Ranger M8.0.
The stretchy band at the entry is not very stretchy so it's not easy to put them on (compare with a very similar model from Clarks M7.5 which i have) but it's ok. 3 out of 5
Insole is think and comfy, and stylist. 4 out of 5
The robber at the bottom is not too hard and not too soft, but I would like it a bit softer than this for better grip. 3 out of 5
Overall good for the price.

The collar on the shoes is very comfortable and the leather is flexible and of decent quality. There's a lot of stitching on the shoe and it seems to be sturdy and well done. I bought this as a Lightning Deal, knowing I could return the shoe if necessary. I won't be returning it--nor would I buy a second pair.

The rubber outsole doesn't feel that hard to the touch and the shoe flexes throughout the length. (This is "bad" in the view of some foot experts while others believe the flexibility uses the foot naturally--the "barefoot" vs. supported argument. There is not a solid shank in this shoe.) Yet the shoe has a hard feel when walking. There's not much cushioning or "feel". After two weeks wearing these occasionally I noticed that the glued-on heel liner is peeling. The way that it is placed could quickly make this a problem. The heel tab and piece on the heel to which it is sewed is vinyl. I wouldn't trust it to last long if I pulled on it to seat my foot in the shoe when I put them on.

Overall, these are OK shoes. I like some cushioning in the shoe or a good feel of the ground. This shoe gives neither. Yet it is competent and as pictured. Having paid half the price at which it's listed as I post this review, I can't complain. I would have returned them, though, had I paid "full price".
