Prisoner of Zenda, Doctor Who style,
This review is from: Doctor Who and the Androids of Tara (Paperback)
The Doctor and Romana find themselves on the planet Tara to find the fourth segment of the Key to Time. Witrh the Doctor deciding to have a break to go fishing, Romana decides to prove that the task is simpler than the Doctor makes out, and quickly find the fourth segment. She is preparing to return to the TARDIS when she meets Count Grendel, and there begins a series of events that make up this story. If you are familiar with 'The Prisoner of Zenda', there is not much that will surprise youin this story. However, it is a quite decent change of pace for Doctor Who, and has sufficient science fiction trappings added that those who don't know the original story probably won't notice. A high adventure romp, well worth a read. I think the video would be preferable. |
