I had the pleasure of reading a scene from this book as a contest entry well before it was published. I knew then and there that Kristi Gold was going to make her mark on the romance genre, and so she is! DOCTOR FOR KEEPS, Ms. Gold's second book, is everything I hoped it would be and more. Blending a steamy love story with a sensitive portrayal of two real-to-life people trying to make things better for others even as they guard their own wounded hearts, Ms. Gold has crafted a well-written, deeply emotional keeper of a novel. It's tender, touching, and highly romantic. I can't wait to see what she's comes up with next!

Kristi Gold's "Doctor for Keeps" is a well-crafted sophomore effort, following her "Cowboy for Keeps." In this story of a renegade doctor and his sheltered nurse, one night changes both their lives forever. Dr. Rick Jansen finds his heart melted by Miranda Brooks' innocence and secrets, and Miranda leaves behind years of self-doubt caused by a scarring accident years ago.

Gold creates another page-turner of passion and strong characters. You will love the humanity she brings to Rick and Miranda and see your own self reflected in these characters. Kristi Gold's "Doctor for Keeps" is definitely a book for keeps.
