JUST LIKE YOU WERE IN THIS MAGICAL LAND. .,
By "rshaver13" (Detroit) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Doctor From Lhasa (Paperback)
ITS AMAZING THE PICTURE DR RAMPA CAN PAINT WITH A PEN. . .The story told is so life like that you can almostimagine you were in Tibet experiencing adventure with the authorI first read THE THIRD EYE by Rampa about l5 years ago and I've been searching for other works by him ever since...and now I've found one I really like even better than THE THIRD EYE.In addition to the story itself another thing I liked about this edition of a long out of print book was its large, easy to read, type. I could open the book and hold it in my hand and turn the pages with ease. But the magic here is in the knowledge the reader will go away with. Its phenomenal what Rampa knows and is willing to share with the world.

Phenomenal, life-changing book, and series of books...,
By Bentley (Ontario, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Doctor From Lhasa (Paperback)
The impact this book will have on you completely depends how open minded you are to things that you are unfamiliar with. This book, and all of Lobsang Rampa's books tells of his incredible life, and the beliefs and customs that he was brought up with. The issues discussed in the book(s) are far from being widely accepted in the Western world, but this does not make them untrue.
If you read this book, and any of the other of his books, with a truly open mind, then I promise you it will have a profoundly positive impact on your life. Even if you decide that you do not believe all of what he is saying, it is an extraordinary story even read from a fictitious point of view, but there is something for everyone in the books. These books have had a bigger impact on my life, and view of the world than any other book, story, movie or anything - and that is not to say I blindly believe everything he has written, but I certainly do believe much of it. This is another incredible book in a phenomenal series - highly, highly recommended.

I'm addicted in reading this book!,
This review is from: Doctor from Lhasa (Kindle Edition)
I've read The Third Eye. I was super sad when I finished the Third Eye book within 24 hours and somehow I wish Dr. Tuesday Lobsang would have written more books. My wish came true after I searched Google. He wrote 22 other books! Super fantastic! I couldn't believe myself that I'm almost done with this book, Dr. from Lhasa, roughly 32 hours.
Honestly, I'm not some bookworm, but I couldn't stop reading because his stories kept feeding my wild imagination from one event to the next as it felt so real. Dr. Tuesday wrote such beautiful story from inside out and described so much of how a Tibetan lama would do so much good to serve the deep troubled humanity. Not only that, his knowledge was vast; lama, telepathy, surgeon, and pilot. He used all his knowledge in helping others even though he had some rough rides in dealing with life and death; being captured and tortured in horrible prison several times. Indeed, a true lama never gave up "hope" and the "will" to help out others. I found this useful link that posted historic picture of the 13th Dalai Lama, Mingyar Dondup, and Dr. Tuesday. http://www.lobsangrampa.org/hypothesis.html If I could, I would rate this 10 stars!

I guess if you're inclined to believe this hogwash you'll buy this book and think it's great stuff. But it isn't. It's just bunk, from a man who's been exposed repeatedly as a charlatan. Save your money and buy something else!
