Doctor Groucho,

This review is from: Doctor Sex (Blue Moon) (Paperback)
Should this ever become a movie, Professor Sexton Snide would be best played by sex starved Groucho Marx would that be possible. Fun book, but not for an intimate read with your partner. The laughs would kill the mood.

Odd,

That about somes it up. This sex crazed doctor lives up in a castle on a hill with his crazy assistant. He develops this brain wave transfer machine. He figures out how to transfer his lusty brain waves into every woman he meets. In this book over thirty different women come to the door including several unsuspecting people, a few nuns and the police inspector's daughter. After he turns all the girls into lusty sex-fiends and locks them away in the tower, the police begin too investigate. Sigh. This novel was all over the place, the doctor is the narrator and he's crazy so the book's pace is eccentric and the story is more humorous than erotic. It wasn't what I thought I was getting into but I had to finish it all the same.

Doctor Sex is written for men, but does vindicate women at the very end! Recommended for people who like porn interlaced with religion & British politics...

Ray Gordon is one of the better Erotic authors writing right now. Then why the one star. Because every now and then he decides to write a 'humorous' book, and his idea of humor is puns on names, and similar peurile humor. The sexual element (usually his strength) is undermined by the absurd characters and situations. I suggest sticking to Gordon's non humorous titles like 'Sextro' and 'Naked Lies'.

There is sex from cover to cover and the laughs are good. Makes you wonder just what lengths people would go to to reach a goal. Doctor sexton uses a mind machine, along with the rack to reach his. His butler is a hoot, along with being sexually aggressive. Lots of fun
