5.0 out of 5 stars Do you ever have a flashlight and think...this could be more sonic?
This has been one of the better Doctor Who related purchases I've made. While I love the screen accurate full size replicas I get the most day to day use from the flashlight. It's very sturdy because there are no moving parts aside from the on/off switch and is a petite size, about 2/3 size of the normal screwdriver, so you can take it anywhere. I am part of a theatre...

2.0 out of 5 stars maybe ok for adult
It lasted a week with my son. It is fairly small with a delicate switch assembly. Careful use would result in a decent lifespan. It doesn't appear to have replaceable batteries so there is a definite end of life even for an aspiring time lord

I am part of a theatre group and this has been invaluable as a backstage light during costume changes. The light is also surprisingly bright and I have used it during power outages or to search for cords in poorly lit areas.

I am looking forward to the expected release of the 11th doctor's screwdriver in this style.

I love this little thing. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive sonic screwdriver (the other ones are a tad too exorbitant for me), and I'm glad to have bought this one. It's real fun to have around, and it has actually come in handy around the house (and it is pretty durable, I've dropped it a number of times: still works). The light is actually really bright, and I've used it as a go-to flash light a number of times. Searching for keys in the dark, reading in the dark, it's nice to have a pocket light around; and I'm ashamed to say I've used it on a number of locked doors since I've gotten it (with mixed results). I'd recommend this - it ships fast and is a fantastic product.

I was really excited to get this flashlight but when I received it the screwdriver started to fall apart right away. The end piece fell off, which was only decorative but still was part of the screwdriver and the on/off switch is very flimsy. It is too easy to turn on & off, not even requiring a finger but would go on even in the small loose pocket of my jacket. I was disappointed with the toy.

This is a great little Dr. Who nick Knack, but of very little practical use. She lovced it despite its uselessness. Delivery was quick and the cost was low.
