"One morning Ted woke up, got out of bed, and bumped his knee. `That's not good,' thought Ted. `I need a doctor.'" And the doctor that Ted needs is none other than Doctor Ted!

This book is part of a two book series (dare I hope that there are more on the way?) that feature a very imaginative young bear named Ted. In this adventure Ted become a doctor, and his good-deed-doing soon causes consternation everywhere he goes!

This is a very cute book, and my second-grade reader really like Ted's silly adventures and misadventures! I found the text to be quite good, just challenging enough, and the illustration work to be equally good, keeping my little one interested and entertained. It's quite a good book, and my little reader and I both highly recommend it.

This book is hilarious! If you haven't read it and want to get a book for your children or someone else's do not worry. It is laugh out loud funny! I hope there is going to be another Dr. ted book! His adventure and creativity as a character is fun for adults to read and kids to hear! Kudos to the author!

What I look for in a children's book is can it captivate my child's imagination? So many books these days are preachy, and talk down to children. Doctor Ted is funny and charming. If you like Curious George, I think you will like Dr. Ted.

I actually laughed out loud! Definatly my new favorite childrens book and one everyone can enjoy!

Adults and kids alike will fall in love with Doctor Ted, whose good intentions make up for an appalling lack of medical knowledge as he
goes around diagnosing cases of gingivitis and foot odor and prescribing
outrageous remedies. From an author and illustrator team who know that laughter is the best medicine, this little gem is guaranteed to make you giggle.

Doctor Ted

I absolutely love this book. I gave a copy to my niece who enjoys reading it over and over again. I also love all things teddy bear and this is a fabulous book and a must have for all teddy bear lovers everywhere.

Every summer my eight-year-old granddaughter and I cram all the children's books we can read into one week so that she can complete the library's reading program before traveling. Last summer we read 18 books, and then ranked them. This was her #1 very favorite!

Later in the summer when we met for a family reunion, she repeated the book verbatim with joy, drama, and wit, delighting all the adults at the dinner table!

I'm getting this for a Christmas present in memory of our lovely hours on the porch swing. Alas, I'm afraid she's outgrown the beautiful children's books that featured so many talented artists and authors.

While this book wasn't "artistic," it was whimsical, and it touched our funny bones and hearts forever! And now she'll have her own copy as a reminder of our lazy happy summer days of reading.

A laugh out loud book for sure! Doctor Ted is one of the best children's books we've read in a long time! We can't wait to read Firefighter Ted next. Add this book to your collection, STAT!

Iloved this book! Unfortunately the kids in my preschool did not find it as amusing as I did :(.

Cute concept but strange ending. My 4 year old was bored. Ok to borrow from the library but I wish I didn't purchase it.
