Product Description

Color: Doctor Who - The Tardis

With its Chameleon Circuit broken, this cardboard cutout will forever look exactly like the Tardis. As the Tardis circuit is broken as well its stuck looking like a 60s police call box. Get this Doctor Who Tardis Standee and you wont have to wait forever for the Doctor to come and take you away to a far off where and when.

Customer Reviews

This product is very realistic because of the high quality.
How It Is
There was no way that we could get the cardboard pieces to stay together so we ended up taking the various pieces and taping them to various doors around the house.

I got this for my daughter's graduation party, and she loved it!!!

My friend bought one, I told him it was a REALLY bad idea, but he didn't listen. Long story - short is: it went missing the day after he got it. Then he called me all paniced and irrational. I reluctently went over to check on him but then HE was missing.

I'ts been a few days, and I havn't slept a wink. I've got 3 flashlights with me at all time. The police won't do a thing (I mean it's been days!) and Marc's GONE. Please, please DO NOT buy this. save yourse

/The/ doctor of the current generation. While I admit fezzes /may/ be cool, it just doesn't get any better than Tennant. The quality is solid, it's vivid and colorful and holds up well.

Downsides:
* The Doctor is vulnerable to cats. If you have cats (we have four) be prepared for them to attack the Doctor like swarms of fluffy Daleks. They tend to brush up against the stand, and knock it over.
* If you wake up in the middle of the night, roll over in bed... the serious, judging look of Tennant's eyes will be more than enough to scare the living bejeezus out of you.
* It's not the real Doctor. :(

Times are hard. I had just moved into a new subdivision, and have a home to furnish. The economy is down, and interior decorators aren't as cheap as they used to be. I am always on the lookout for haute decor that will allow my friends and family to feel welcome in my home, while also revealing my trendy, hip nature. I had just signed up for an Amazon prime membership as well, and was just rarin' to make a purchase to see if the sales hype was true and it would actually be here in TWO DAYS!!! I was surfing Amazon, and this beauty caught my eye.

I could already envision how my status in the neighborhood watch group would go through the roof!!!! And what would be better in the corner of my living room to create an ambiance of peace, harmony, and tranquility? Plus, I had planned a dinner party for several of my neighbors, and they were coming to dinner that Friday night. I thought it would really show them what an uber cool kind of gal that I was. The Homeowner's Association was going to be electing a new chair the next week, and I had big dreams of power and glory. Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley were some of the bigwigs in our neighborhood, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Hooper. Both of these couples were invited to my dinner party. A show of support from them could mean more power and glory than I had ever imagined in my short existence. Also, You never get a second chance at a first impression, and all that jazz.

My wait for the angel was short. The box showed up at the front door on the day of my dinner party, and I was ecstatic. I unpacked the happy looking guy and quickly set him up in my living room. Then I went to finish cooking some dinner and prepare for my upward climb on the social ladder.

I have mixed feelings about this thing. From my childhood, I have loved Dr. Who, so I would order this again. On the other hand, I must say that this thing gives off a very strong toxic fume smell for a good month after opening, almost unbearable at first. If it weren't Christmas, I would have put it somewhere outside for a few weeks to breathe, but it would have been damaged by rain, so my family's initial enjoyment of it was dimmed by the horrible smell. But months later, even on dark exhausted days after work, it gives me a little glow inside my heart as I trudge by it in my hallway... I feel that Velveteen Rabbit awareness that Dr. Who is real, and will someday swing by to see what that odd smell is coming from, maybe leave behind a sack of jellybabies. Or whatever David Tennant's Doctor might leave behind. Perhaps a diary?

Color Name: 3D TARDIS
We ordered one of these for a whovian themed party. I had read reviews and figured they just weren't good at putting together things like this...I was wrong. First off, without using two rolls of duct tape we would have never gotten it to stay together. Even with duct tape it took 5 of us 2 hours to put this together. The largest problems are the flimsy tabs and order the instructions go, we came up with a much better workflow that finally worked. The price is ridiculous, this is literally a bunch of printed cardboard, and even for that it's a low resolution printing job. I'd pay up to $100 for something like this, but $250 is robbery. Save your money, or even better go to [...] and make one of those, It'll cost about the same and it will last forever.

This cardboard tardis came without any assembly directions so we had to try and figure the whole thing out. Once we figured out what was supposed to go where, we found out that the precut connectors were not capable of handling the pressure of holding the pieces together and the ripped off. There was no way that we could get the cardboard pieces to stay together so we ended up taking the various pieces and taping them to various doors around the house. This was not worth the money spent.

I bought this angel here on Amazon in 2044. When the package arrived two days later, I was so excited that I set it up immediately. I thought it would make a great gag for unsuspecting Doctor Who fans who might come over for a party. I didn't really believe anything would happen. Yet here I am. It sent me to 2014 when I wasn't looking.
