Many Classic who fans complain that Classic who has been forgotten. Many new who fans complain that Tennant's and Eccleston's seasons have been forgotten.

No they haven't.

This book references Classic and New. It explains that everything isn't just made up techno babble. It's referenced tehno babble. A lot of it is things that yes have happened before.

The lack of Spoilers and Foilers is disappointing, but is more than made up with the Deleted scenes, behind the monsters, episode descriptions, interviews, extra material, comic, and much much more.

Die Hard Whovians should definitely pick this book up. Moffat says that he doesn't write for Hard Core fans, but this book proves that there's a lot hidden that we overlook. A true diehard fan notices these things more, so in reality there's a lot to be seen.

It also explains little things in the show you might not of understood. Honestly. Buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Same review I gave the 2011 book. 5 stars April 4, 2012
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
I actually bought this one first, since I didn't know there was a different one for the 2011 season. I'm still a Dr. Who newbie, and didn't understand the whole "season 5" "season 6" thing. OK, now I get it.

But this book is VERY well put together, an absolute TON of information covering all the characters, all the episodes. Lots of inside information, lots of new info, etc.

Bottom line, if you own the series DVD/Blu-Ray set, you really should have this book also. It's a perfect companion... (pun intended)
