For the Doctor Who fan these character building sets are a lot of fun. We got them really quickly even though they had to be shipped from England. They were a gift for my husband for Father's Day. He and the kids loved putting them together and pretending to be the Doctor. I was worried that we wouldn't get great characters since you can't determine in advance which figures you get, but we got the Doctor, Amy, a Dalek and a Weeping Angle. It was the perfect beginner set!

These figures are cute, but not as cute as the Time Squad set. Plus, you cannot choose the ones you want, you get random figures, which makes collecting them a complete frustration. So one ends up with multiple doctors, but none of the characters one wants. This really was a bad choice by the character building company - but I guess they are laughing all the way to the bank. All the joy is taken out of collecting them.
