I got this alarm clock for my thirteen year old granddaughter. She's a big Doctor Who fan. She loved this clock. The alarm works as it should. The alarm goes off for about 15 minutes and then shuts off. I haven't found out why but this clock announces one of it's four recorded messages at random. My daughter said the random "Exterminate!" woke her up in the next room three times the first time she used it. It did not wake up my granddaughter. Also the alarm did not wake her up either, but I think that's because it probably wouldn't wake up a teenager if a dump truck crashed into a nitroglycerin plant. It came with batteries already installed. One of the batteries had leaked and made a big mess inside. Her father took the batteries out and gave it a good cleaning, and installed new batteries. Overall she loves the clock and that's what counts.

Just love getting woke-up in the morning by a Dalek voice yelling EXTERMINATE....... It was for my son's 10th birthday this August, and he just loved it.... big DOCTOR WHO Fans in this house since 1980........ Now my children love the new Dr. Who and this was a great surprise for everyone.... Also, it is a face clock, so one has to read the time, not have it digitally displayed for them, nice touch there.... Have had no problems as of yet, so far very happy with item, and it shipped quickly and from the UK......

For Doctor Who fans its awsome, it just ticks realy loud, so if your a light sleeper, I wouldnt reccomend it.

Arrived when it was supposed to. It was exactly as described and in good working order. Fun item to have, however I don't think I will be using it as my primary alarm, since the first time it went off it scared me. (and this is a clock, not a toy)

Alarm clock is fun, but it doesn't have an am/pm switch for the alarm. Be prepared for it to go off twice daily. The vendor was great when the first one received didn't work. The replacement was received promptly. It is a fun novelty!

It is cheap and flimsy and a whole lot of fun! If you have some Whovians in your home, they will be well pleased with this for Christmas. The Dalek sounds are amusing and annoying, perfect for an alarm clock.

My daughter is a huge Dr Who fan and loves this alarm clock. It's really loud and obnoxious- just like the daleks but it's hilarious too!

this clock is OK for collectors but not to be used as alarm clock it goes off at the wrong time and the voice breaks up i tried changing the batteries but it still didn't work right,now it sits on the shelf with my doctor who collection.

came in original packing and not working, new batteries were put in and clock worked, but no speaking alarm :( Returned for refund.

We got this alarm clock for my son because he loves Dr. Who. Let me say that this has been the most annoying way to wake up every morning for the past year! The alarm clock does not only wake my son up, it wakes the entire house up with the Dalek voice. Don't get me wrong, it has held up good, kept good time, and is pretty cool for a kid. It is just that after a while you will find yourself going out and buying another alarm clock because it is an unpleasant way to start your day.
