This second(of three) volume reprints all the Tenth Doctor comic strips with Martha Jones, and the all the ones with Donna Noble. Like in my review for Volume 1("The Betrothal of Sontar"), the comic art here is amazing. The colors are reproduced just as vibrantly as they appeared in the Doctor Who Magazine, and the best part is that you get artists' and writers' commentary at the end of the book, a sort of 'behind the scenes' commentary.My favorite story here was "The Time of My Life", the last comic strip to feature Donna Noble. That story was for me the real proper goodbye to the character, far more fullfilling that what the fans got on screen. I'd really recommend this both to new and old fans of the show. :) |
